Just for fun, I checked the current cost of our already booked flights for our trip this June on southwest.com. The price has increased by 65%!!! :scared1:

From San Antonio to Orlando, 2 adults...$1028.00!!! I paid $600 & choked on that. Granted, they're perfect times & non-stop both ways.

Seriously? :scared1:

Our flight on May 27th from Kansas City to Orlando is more than that . . . It is now sold out (only business left at 4 times the price I paid). Glad I didn't wait to buy! I think prime summer flights are going to be costly this year . . .

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the airlines constant price changes. Since we booked our flights about a month ago (3 tix $1054 total) they have gone up to $1450+ at one point and then today I noticed that the rt fare for same flights had gone down a total of $91. I called Jet Blue and they gave me a $273 credit (3 tix)!!!

Have to say thanks to DIS Transportation boards since I had no idea you could get a credit if prices dropped after you paid until I read it here. I have one year from today to use the credit. That amount is usually close to the cost of a rt tix from MA tp FL!!

That is a 121% increase.

:rotfl2: Dan, that's why I'm a musician. I can only count to four! A one and a two and a...:rockband:

OK, how is that 121%? :confused3
LOL. :teeth:

I was wrong too. Somehow I put in 1,326 into the calculation. :confused3:surfweb:

It actually is 71%

1,028-600=428

428/600=71%

You were a lot closer then I was.
