Looking to attend Fantastic and wondering what the bus waits are like after the show. Would I be better off to drive on that day?

Welcome to the DIS. Yep, busy after the show if the park is closing at that time. If you have a car and don't want to wait, then you would probably be happier driving. We just take our time walking out of the park and it's not that big of a deal. You don't mention what time of year you will be there. Are there two shows that evening or just one.....makes a difference.

There in a few weeks. 1 Show that day and park closing shortly after. Can you walk to your car or do you have to wait on a tram?

You can walk to your car depending on where you are parked. There are some lots where walking is not safe esp at night.

Enjoy the stroll at night in HS and don't worry. It shouldn't be too bad. You are going early summer, many schools are still in, it shouldn't be packed yet.

You can walk. When we have visited DHS early in the morning we have been directed to the parking area closest to the gates and always walked. When we have arrived in the afternoon, we have been directed to the parking areas farther away from the gates most of the time. Walking is an option for the outer parking areas but the tram should be quicker.

I like sitting at the far-right side of the stadium for Fantasmic so when the show ends we can hit the exit ahead of most of the crowd.

WELCOME!:)

There is also always the option of sitting in the back of the Theatre and leaving when the Steamboat comes out and then making a DIRECT dash for the buses.:)

That will put you ahead of the masses.:)
