LOL @ your ECV comment, I was thinking the same thing as I typed it and was giggling to myself..that being said, if anyone deserves a posh ride, it's someone that just walked that many miles!!

Let me put it this way...if I am in an ECV...I am REALLY hurting and unable to walk! I can assure you of that!

Sounds like you have a great weekend planned.

When you go to the expo you may have to go into two separate buildings for your stuff. That is what we had to do. One building you pick up your bib and the other you get your bag and shirt. That is where all the vendors are. Wonder if it is the same for the Princess?

If you are staying in one of the end buildings at the Poly, from what I understand it is a short walk to the TTC. That would cut your time down a bit.

Y'all are going to have a great trip and don't totally rule out an ECV. You are almost there and I can't wait to see the pick of you with your medal.

You know what...I am such a dork DISer and had not even thought about making a room request! So I just called and requested Rapa Nui, which is close to the TTC. It is away from everything else, but being close the big day is all that really matters...plus it will be easier to get to Epcot when we go! (And we have our car, which can be parked right there!)

It seems you planned enough downtime before the race to be able to relax. I'm interested to hear how your dinner is at Kona. I've recently checked out the dinner menu and it looks really good.

I am really looking forward to Kona. I have heard the steak is better at Kona than at Le Cellier - so I will let ya know!

Each trip has been so different! Different focus for each - some were not about me at all, so I really didn't get to do stuff on "my list"...but others were solo and I had a ton of "me" time...this one is all about some relaxing and running!!

I hope she doesn't get burned out before Sept!!

I am actually NOT riding EE! Or Space, RnR, ToT - nothing that would possibly jerk me around...I am just playing it safe, I guess.

Since I will be back in Sept and will be able to ride EE a BUNCH of times! I promise I will make up for it! Tell Jordan my goal for EE is to ride it 20 times in Sept. My FAVORITE ride!!

I am definitely going to start that race! If my feet are much better (they have a way to go!), then I expect to finish that race and have that medal!!

I will be tweeting...but maybe not as much as I might normally...because Lisa will be with me and I hate to be on my phone doing something instead of talking to her, ya know?

But I will tweet and update here and FB as soon as I get done with the race (assuming my phone still has some juice!)!

Hello Maroo! We just got back on Sunday night after our week in WDW - we had fun, but actually a fair bit of work travelling with three 11 year old boys, doing all the wheelchair pushing and transfers etc. Still, it was a good trip, and fun to see the boys' friend Max enjoy WDW for the first time.

You're staying at the POLY?!? We just got back from there! We really liked it - I thought the boys would always want to stay there...until we went over to the Grand Floridian for dinner and they got all nostalgic. They loved the volcano pool - hours at a time! Yes, the walk to the TTC is very convenient and really not long at all - and we were in the Hawaii building, so not really the closest to it. Beside the Hawaii building is also a great place to watch the fireworks - there's a speaker right there. We didn't eat at Kona, thought the boys would not love it, but the coffee bar was great! The boys had Mickey waffles at Capt Cook's and it seemed like a smooth operation.

I was so sorry to hear about Mya...will PM you with a request re: your project. I've been wanting to reconnect with the Big Givers if I can. Can you help?
