~How TWO trips became...who knows? ~ It's a TRIP! and an upgrade.... 4/22

Well, I missed a whole weekend of amazing posts and discussion. It's like looking at a golden bracelet studded with diamonds and other precious gems!

--Hurray that Ra is better!!
--You switched resorts AGAIN- naw, not maroo!
--Super fun hints and tip Sandy and Jen!! WTG!
--I'd say bring a couple of ponchos! Ours tore in several places when we went (getting in and out of rides with them is doesn't do them any good) and we were glad we had extras.
--I'm torn too about where to eat at AK. So, here's the deal, since they all sound good (I've only eaten at FT), I"m just going with the plan to eat at whatever place is closest to where I get hungry.

I just looked at your ticker!!! You are soooooooo close now. That means you are closer to seeing what you might score for our trip, as well as having a super fun time with Sharon!! I am excited!

I will have one poncho per day! I don't wear used ponchos. They get all sticky? So I get the $1 ponchos and purchase one per day of my trip. I realize I could use more than one per day, but that usually works out. I also have a small umbrella that I got at Magic Meets that will be coming with me!

18 days! In 18 days you'll be at Disney!

I missed most of the post from yesterday and it was so funny when I opened it today to start reading them it was the hurricane talk. I was watching the news and seen the hurricanes brewing. I was thinking oh great we leave in about 19 days and look at the weather headed toward Fla. We have not travel muched but it always seem to be when we do plan something there is always some kind of a weather happening. We have timing like your trip with your friend. I guess we can brave it out together in Disney.

OKW ONE BEDROOM VILLA!!!!!!!

And it has a ....

HOT TUB! (well, jacuzzi bath...but you get the drift!)

I am so, so excited!! It has a washer and dryer! And a regular size kitchen! (We can actually COOK breakfast!) I know it only has a king size bed and a pull out...but it is so worth it for the JACUZZI!!!!

I so loved the 1 bedroom we stayed at - I knew there was a reason you had to be at OKW!! What a blessing!!

You'll never want to leave!! I can check the dvc board and find out what they cook!! (bagels and cream cheese works for breakfast for us!! ) Loved the washer dryer in the room!!

And on the one bedroom villa! I love, love, love the idea of having a washer and dryer in your room. Sooooo convenient. Never mind a place to eat breakfast. I think at some point I may seriously considering renting points from a DVC owner, the benefits of those villas are great!!!

This is a good idea! I like a hot breakfast...but with all of the food we will be eating every day...I suspect we will make things like Pop Tarts ... is there a toaster in each of those rooms? hmm....

I have been seriously considering it...but...with the deals out right now, it is harder to justify?? And I don't really normally need deluxe accommodations?

5 nights...at OKW 1 BR Villa...Free Dining for two...costs me:

$150 in 1 Day MYW Tickets (I will use $75 toward my AP renewal and Sharon will use hers toward tickets)

$82 per night for lodging. This includes Dining. So $410 plus tax?

The total is a little over $600 for the whole package. MAJOR

Monday Plans:

Well...there is a part of this day (which could end up being another day, honestly...still working out the details) where I will be able to sorta participate in granting one of our wish kids WISH! I can't give anything away here...But that is why this date will so few plans. We have plans in case they move this event to a different date...but this is where we have this penciled in for now.


Otherwise...

We plan to spend part of the day at DTD. Possibly eat at Earl of Sandwich? Or Ghiardelli?

We may go to a park? Maybe?

But the main event of the day is the 8:00 PM ressie we have at California Grill! We will be there for the Fireworks (at 10:00) hopefully able to watch them from the observation deck.

Have you ever eaten at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD? Delicious huge portions of food, served to your table, and counts as a counterservice for the meal plan! By far our tastiest and best value in all WDW for using CS points!
