How to avoid error code when booking at 8am?

I don't know - not into this stuff, just need to book the rooms!

It always ends up changing anyway lol. What works the best this year will be something else next year.

Happy to see your success with BWV! Pretty sweet. I bet someone was happy picking up those BW views as well.

Yes, stuff has certainly changed over my 26 years as an owner. Someone will be happy!

Funny - I will always try to book BW view over Garden. But then I get there and it's a long walk from parking.

It would be easier to just settle for Garden and ask for tennis court area. But then I feel sort of ripped off. So I've been booking standard almost forever, except for 2024 when I did a 2 bedroom for family - brother and wife. Wanted to show off the view, plus the walk was easier for them as they mostly stayed up front and the car was brought to them as brother needs assistance.

Good luck with whatever you are trying to get!

My January - February (BWV, BCV) stay has developed nicely. BCV wouldn't be in this at all except the points are going to expire September 2027. If I can sub them out for Boardwalk at 7 that's what will probably happen.

I still have 2 boardwalk view nights I will give up happily to get the room in a resort view so that I don't have to change rooms. Waitlist has been in and I'm checking regularly as I'm rich with time to spend on the website. Briefly considered jumping ahead to 2nd week in February but I have too many working parts.

After this is set, I'm probably going to look at some cash rooms. This year, I have to do RMD's.

If you have the opportunity, see what bounceback inventory is available. It can work if you’d like more days to extend your DVC trip.

For our upcoming trip in April we have a cash room booked for the last night. We are checking into to WDW a week before. Once I do that we can look at bounceback offers for our last night. I’m hoping to switch out our Contemporary CL room and save a couple hundred dollars, but it’s also a very good method for getting the lowest prices at Coronado.

I always forget about Bounceback!
Well guys I can’t share my DP because I caved and started walking my room instead of getting up at the crack of dawn. Was surprised it was even available to walk so I took advantage.

Can't say I blame you!

Stalking luck was with me today. I had 2 nights still booked as Boardwalk View which meant changing rooms. This morning I started some hardcore stalking and one by one I was able to at first modify and then with the remainder points, book the 2nd room as it was released a bit later. Now I have a string of 9 nights, starting with 2 at BCV (expiring points) and continuing with 7 nights in a resort view BWV studio. I may try to turn those BCV nights into resort nights at BW but not right now as we are a week past that point and it's probably now best to do a waitlist and substitute out the BCV at 7 months.

I can then swap out at Hilton Head and bank those into next year as I've now booked a two bedroom there and there are still loads of 2 bedrooms to play with points.

Other resorts I'd like to try: Tower concierge at Coronado. Stayed in the original rooms in summer when it first opened. Liked the resort and hated summer in rooms with outside entrances.

BW Inn concierge deluxe room. It doesn't look 'all that' and the finishes are pretty much identical to BWV, and only one bath, but I wouldn't have tons of people there anyway. These face the lake and a bit towards Epcot for fireworks. Regular concierge is a scrubby trees view.

And I still need to do something at Poly Tower. I've stayed at Poly concierge numerous times, regular rooms, and resort villas. No desire for the over water cabins.

But on an earlier trip met up with my guide in the tower and toured with him. I did like it. Now if the 'new' would wear off a bit I might get a night or a few during one of my escapes from the hell of ice and snow.

I love when staking and playing that’s pays off!
