I just bought this month and I am 27. I am a divorced school teacher so needless to say I financed. But I plan on paying it off in 3 years...I would never have had the money to pay out right, but I wanted to purchase something that my I can do with son every year and start my own family traditions. I would have liked to buy it without financing, but they wouldn't have that option if people didn't use it. Do what you have to do, just make sure you can pay for it for the next 10 years and the dues for the next 50. It is not because of your age I say that, that would go for anyone thinking about purchasing. It takes a lot of looking into the future and hoping your financial situation doesnt change for the worse...

Gosh I feel like an old geezer at 40.....wish I would have bought at 33 when our kids were younger, but they are still only 13, 11, 8. We just got a late start.....

We joined in 2004 when I was 56 and my husband was 53. I'll be going to celebrate my 60th birthday in the spring. Woo hoo, can't wait.
