I have a birthday in a few days so age has been on my mind. I'll be 85 by the year 2042. I'm turning 44 (yes definately mid 40s) next week and I just bought into DVC. My son will be getting more use out of it then I will.

I was 31 and my wife was 27 at the time of our purchase.

Was older than all of the above.

My wife and I just bought in and we are both 28, we'll be using all 42 years...

I bought at age 48 two years ago. I have tried OKW, Vero and
next May my wife and I will travel to Hilton Head. My kids are 22 and 19. My daughter has gone with friends. I am hoping to use a Grand Villa for a family trip in the next few years. If you have Grandchildren at some point I think you will use your membership
a lot over the next 20-30 years. I have a friend that is taking both his son and his daughter's families down for a big vacation.
Imagine if your parents arranged free accomodations for you for the next 42 years! The possibilites are fantastic!

Joined this year at age 51...

Dh and I bought on our honeymoon.
He was two months shy of his 24th birthday and I was 27. We should get tons of use! :)

My mom bought when she was 63. I am the holder of the keys as she says. It was purchased by her to spend more time with her grandkids and for them to have when if ever she leaves us. I make the arrangements for every trip and we live four hours away from each other. We have done Disney, The cruise, Vero and next week we leave to spend Thanksgiving together in HH. This way they are sharing memorable time with their Nana.

I was 33 and DH was younger;) We have 4 children, so we are not concerned that we won't get full use of the 42 years! I actually tried to talk my husband into buying twice the points as most purchasers, because we have twice the kids as most families, but he said no:( , because we have twice the food, clothing, etc. bills as most families. Oh, well, I am REAL good at stretching our points and having twice the fun doing it. :)

My wife and I were (and still are) 38 when we bought in July of this year.

I was 26 when I purchased in early 2000. I'm hoping for a longer contract at BCV or Eagle Pines! :D

We are still waiting on the Fedex letter to come. (should be here today)

So, I will be 25 and DH-44, when we buy into DVC!

I was 44 and wife was 43.

In the 7 years we have owned we have gotten every penny back of our investment. Two visits a year along with the 5 years of park passes.
