My girls will be 3 and 7 when we go this year and I plan on bringing our Joovy Sit and Stand Stroller for them. We used it on our last trip 2 years ago and loved how easily it handled through the crowds at the parks and that it gave us 'storage space'. We'd rent one but are far too cheap...plus it helps that we are driving so bringing our own isn't a big deal.
I doubt either will WANT us to bring the stroller in the mornings but by mid-day I can totally see them begging to sit in it!!!! Plus...I kind of like having them 'trapped' if we go through crowds.
well I think teh thread was going along fine until someone made a very judgmental statement.I think children should not be in strollers past 5 years old unless they have a medical condition.
Seriously kids can walk better than adults at times.
I find parents will spend the whole day at parks with younger children and just stick them in strollers when they are tired, what's the point of that? If they are tired they need a break, there is so much stimulus at the parks, if they are tired a stroller is not the answer.
We go to the park in the morning and after lunch we are at the resort for a break and then we will head back if need be.
This may be a good thread![]()
Going from your popcorn icons I am going to guess that you made that inflammatory statement just to get this thread "going"?
