When we go down in two weeks, unless I learn something I don't know now (which considering the number of questions I've asked here would be about impossible), I plan on joining DVC. When we go into meet our guide, I plan to tell him to skip the standard spiel and just give me the latest figures (points cost, what is available with what use year, current MB offer, etc.). If everything is like I think, I plan on saying SOLD. My question is, how long will it take to do all of the paperwork, etc. We do plan to finance thru DVC and will use MB as part of our downpayment. I'm trying to figure out if I want to do a park on that day also. We have tickets for Cirque that night and if the DVC process takes a long time, it might would be that I wouldn't waste a pass for that day or possibly do Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon. I plan on calling our guide next week and hope I can get an early appointment on that day.
PS - Don't know why I'm adding this but I'm real proud of my DW. She has really come around to the idea of DVC. She keeps asking all kinds of questions. In fact, I had planned on renting out our 2nd year points to help pay for a family cruise next year and she didn't think that was a good year. She was thinking about using the points for maybe a series of mini-vacations. Don't you just love your spouse when they come around like this.
