How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

We are in the process of booking a trip for either late November/early December 2013 or Jan. 19-25 2014. I have some questions i hope you experts can help with.

We went in 2009 before our second child was born job changes economy and such kept us from going since. From time to time we still get PIN offers from Disney. Can we combine the Pin offers with the discount with AAA.

We will be traveling with a 9 year old and 3 year old at the time of the trip.

Hi! I do not believe you can combine those. That's probably double dipping. You will have to choose the best one for you when you get quotes :).

Okay let's see...1 adult, 1 disney adult
Aug 6-10
4 nights @ AoA LM $886
Aug 10-19
9 nights @ AKL $3098
2 APs $1222.62
No DDP
Food $1000
Airfare appx. $800
Souvenirs/spending money $1300

$8306.62 :scared1::scared1::faint:

Mind you this is before ANY GP, AP discounts or PINs so my total can drop substantially;).

May 24-31
5 Disney Adults
7 nights @ POR 2 rooms
7 day PH
4916.79
hmm seems more $$ than in the past. First time going in May. Might price out 2 values instead so torn
no DDP but will add if FD comes out. Willing to change dates around also if so
Driving down
Spending $$ 1000 + 1500 food if no FD
so approx 7500 before discounts. I can get a teacher discount at S/D so depending if anything is offered we might go that route instead. I love the location but don't love S/D

Also going over New Years
Dec 30-Jan 5 or 6. May wait and go down Dec 31-Jan 6 or 7 if FD starts on the 2nd like it has in the past. Can't price that one out yet though

Jan 4 - Jan 18, 2013

Me, DD14, DS17
OKW 1BR 14 nights $7237.14
Airfare $793.90
Tickets $0 (we have APs that we already used for 16 days--so counting this as FREE)
No dining plan
Groceries $250 (based on last trip of 16 days)
Spending money (based on last trip of 16 days) $1500
Petsitter $700

TOTAL $10481.04

I think we win for three people! :rolleyes1 Hoping for a room only discount, which will lower the total quite a bit, but we're going either way.

Have you priced renting points instead for OKW? I think you'd come out 1/2 that cost even if you go with David's who's points are a tad more than renting privately from an owner.

**ETA** a 1BR for your time frame at David's is 4082..big savings!

Yeah, I looked into renting points and decided against it for a couple of reasons. :) It's a great option though!

Just booked free dining bounceback last week so here is my total. We will probably drop our tickets down to a 7 day but when I booked I wasn't thinking we are only there 14 days and will have 20 days of tickets to use. Plus we are thinking of renting a car for 2 days and doing seaworld/Auquatiqua so that would be a addtional 450.00 for those tickets. I would really like to do a moderate this time around but I just can't commit to the regular dining plan when we spend alot of time in the water parks. Air hasn't come out yet.

8/18 to 9/1 2013
14 nights
2 adult and 2 disney kids
POP Century Standard room
10 MYW with WP&M option
Free QSDP
Total 3236.38

2/10-2/14
2 adults 2 kids
WL CL-Standard room
No tickets, annual passes
No dining
$2047
Hoping for a pass holder discount of at least 35% that would bring us to $1330.55. May add an extra day as well.

Now that it's on the books....
Dates: 4/20/13 - 4/28/13 - 8 nights/9 days
Resort: Polynesian Club Level - $3537.73
Airfare: - will fly Southwest, project about $1200

We bought APs for last trip, so ticket cost counted on last trip.

Total: $4737.73 + we'll being about $1000 - $1500 for food and spending $

Ha! This thread came up and of course I've already made some changes! :rotfl2:
We extended our dates, so now staying 10 nts/11 days ~ 4/18/13-4/28/13
1st 5 nights at Yacht Club (Garden View room) - $1462.71
2nd 5 nights at Polynesian CL - $2216.06
*Both rooms w/40% military discount
We ended up getting airfare through Jet Blue for $1090 (for 2A, 2C) :cool1:, BUT, this means we have to fly out of Boston, so we have to pay for transport to/from airport...$150

Total: $4918.77 + we will bring $1500 for food/spending $ for a total of $6418.77 :scared1:

We've made some minor changes, and booked airfare, so our total should be confirmed now, unless of course a discount comes out later.

7 nights Yacht Club, Garden View (4/18-4/25)
8-day park hopper tickets
Deluxe dining plan
2 adults, 1 child, 1 under-3
=$6082

Also, 1 night AoA (Lion King Suite) (4/26)
=$347

And airfare for 4, round-trip from Denver-Orlando (United, direct flight)
=$957

So grand total, not counting tips, spending money, etc.

=$7386

Trip #1:
Dec. 28-Jan. 6, 2013
3 Bedroom presidential suite Wyndham Bonnet Creek for 9 nights (Splitting three ways with extended family so I pay 1/3 of cost)= $650
2 adult and 2 child 7 day NE Tickets purchased from UC (before price increase) to be upgraded to APs=approx. $2000
Dining at WDW for the week= Free!:cool1: (Not exactly...will be using Disney Reward Dollars accumulated from Disney Reward Visa)
Groceries for the condo= $200
Cost of driving= approx.$500
Total Cost of trip #1= Approx. $3350

Trip #2:
March 29-April 6, 2013
AoA LM room for 5 nights= $1041
Caribe Royale Double Queen Suite for 3 nights= $410
Dining= approx. $1000
Cost of Pirate Adventure cruise for 2 children: approx. $80
AP Theme Park Tickets= paid for during last trip
Cost of driving= approx. $500
Total cost of trip #2= $3031

Edited to add: Now considering staying at Hilton DTD for about $1100 including parking for the whole stay rather than the split stay between AoA and Caribe. Will save about $400

Considering both trips are occurring at the busiest times of year (with few discount options), I am pretty stinkin' proud of how I have kept the costs as low as they are! Thanks to fellow DISers for all of the advice and tips!

8/18-8/24-6 night
3 adults 1 child (well 2 children 20 and 16)
CBR
Bounceback Free Dining
4day base with WP&M
$2609.51 + travel costs either airfare or autotrain

A little over 4 grand for riverside, basic tix, and dining plan for 2 adults and a 13 year old. About 1300 for air from lax. 9 nights/10 days. One of those days will be spent at wwohp and if the weather is good, I'm adding on a day to typhoon lagoon. Add another 600 bucks in the mix for parking and the dog sitter at home. This is not including buying extra stuff and you know kiddo is going to want ears and a wand.

$7200 plus $1600 airfare 4 adults full dxddp pkg week at WL....

January 27 - February 2 (7d/6n)
Coronado Springs Resort
2 Adults - 2 Disney Adults
5-day park hoppers
= $2533.48

+ Travel Insurance @ $151.90 (It'll be winter in Maine - not taking a chance!)

+ Airfare @ approximately $1200

= $3885.38 Total

If we throw in meals (budgeting $1500) and spending money (maybe $500 - kids are bringing their own) - the total should be around $6000 when it's all done.

I'm really, really hoping for a room discount or free dining - would be happy with either. :goodvibes

For 2 adults August 31 - September 7
staying at Polynesian - Garden view, free DDP, 7 day PH, and travel insurance for $4280. It's still too early to add airfare but that will be another $600-$700.

Sent from my GalaxyS II

Reservations made on August 22nd

5 Adults (me, hubby, daughter, son-in-law, son)
Cabins at Ft. Wilderness
Dining Plan (ts, qa, snack)
5 nights/6 days
Park Hopper with Disney Quest
September 29-October 4
$5282,55

I'm hopping to get free dining which would (I think) bring us down to $3,893. : )

We drive (2 cars) so there is gas, and we stay 1 night on each end of the trip at the Best Western Downtown Disney.

If we get free dining it really doesn't seem too expensive.

We're still trying to decide onsite OR offsite. We will not drive, we don't think we would make it to Disney in one piece. LOL! :rotfl: Regular tickets, no park hopper or water park. No Dining plan. OOP. We're looking at it as what we would spend for meals for the week, most of us and our families eat out 3 - 4 times a week anyways.

8 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids = 11 people
June 15 - 22, 2013

Here's what we have so far.

$7029 = Asmu Pkg - 3 room, tkts & transportation

$ 9779

Offsite, Bonnet Creek, 2 two bdrms
$1680 = Lodging rent w/in 60 days of trip
$1200 = Minivan and car rental plus gas
$224 = parking
$3453 = 9 adult, 2 child base MYW tkts
$2750 = airline tickets
$9307

Estimate - $ 2,121.82 plus spending $$ so roughly $2500
7D/6N 2 adults, Pop, 6D MYW w/PH, hoping for free dining but will upgrade to the reg Dine Plan and includes airfare too...
