How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Haven't booked..... Deciding between May or August.

But, I have it saved so.... 2adults, 2 kids under 10.
may 18-25 (8 nights)
AoA little mermaid standard
5 day tix with water park
$2569
Not including airfare Or dining plan. (airfare about $1000)

Might book August instead due to high probability of FD. :worship:

Might have to kick it back to 7 nights....based on price. I NEED FD! :yay:

6 Nights/7 Days at AoA (Little Mermaid) in June, park hoppers, trip insurance, and no dining plan...$2653.56

March 10-16th (Yup...we're crazy)

2 adults, 1 child (6)

6 nights at Pop
7 days PH passes, no water parks
Insurance
Regular Dining Plan

$3081- We haven't included flights yet though

February 2-10
2 Adults
Boardwalk Inn
Deluxe Dining Plan
8-day park hopper
Insurance
$5834.00 + price of airline tickets at about $300 per a person

OK, just went on the My Reservations and was able to pull it up. ta dah :rotfl:
$1588 incl tax for a GV room 10 nights. Is that 20% ??? I calculated the % before I added tax in and thought it was 20%, but my math could be questionable :confused3
So I'm only paying $72 more then you, with 3 more days. :confused3

I'd phone back to check. Unless discount is different for different dates?

I just went on WDW web site to price it without discount, I def got 20%

Maybe the dates are the difference. We are there April 6 - 13. The CM told me the price before the AAA rate and then after. Maybe I will still call back and have it checked.

2 adults 1 child (age 4)
7 nights 8 days Dec 1-8
CR, MK view
8 day hopper plan
DDP

$7081.49
crossing my fingers for a special!!

April 12 to 16

1 adult
$601 room only
$425 ticket upgrade (to AP)
$75 TiW card

All Star Music
1 adult, 1 Disney adult (14yo)
$549 room
$71 DS's ticket upgrade
$400ish airfare
$500 food
$1520 plus spending

I haven't looked at prices for the fall trip yet but that one will be stupid-expensive because it is an anniversary trip without the kids, full of pricey extras like Victoria & Alberts, at least one Food & Wine festival event, and the Backstage Magic tour.

Disney portion of my trip (May 6-11)

5 nights at POP - $710
2 Adult 2 day WDW passes - $375
No Dining plan
Total = $1085

for us it is 5/16 to 5/27 2 adults and 1 disney adult ds age 10. POR perfered 8 day base tickets no ddp 3784.28. I am starting to think about adding on the QSDP but still on the fence. Dates are subject to change depending on the star wars weekend dates. : )

I would not book this early. WAY too early for any discounts.

Problem with this is that there is no guarantee of a discount from Disney. Look at POFQ Fall discount is a measly 5%, who is to say it will be any better than that for Spring and if you are like me using AAA there are only a certain number of rooms available at that rate. So better to book with some sort of discount for the time being.

Just booked our Oct 2013 trip this morning with a 15% off AAA discount!:hyper:

9 nights/10 days POR water view for $1727 (Room Only)
2 adults/ 2 kids under 9

We'll be scoping for better discounts since it's still quite some time away, but yay!

We are also flying: $1600 est. but may save some $ w/ miles for cash
Rental car for 7 days: $300 (from DCC, we want to be mobile off-property too)
5-day park tickets: $1,100
Food (est. ADRs without FD): $800
MNSSHP: $250+
Bayou Pirate Adventure $60
@ $6,000 total :faint:

We're covering off on spa treatments, souvenirs, and a few extras with gift cards that we have already started saving up. :thumbsup2

November 14th-24th, so 10 nights/11 days

DVC Points from BCV/AKV 15th-24th - 1562
Nov 14th & 7 day P/H + WP & More - 1411.62
Universal w/ Mears 500.62
Flights There 303.90
Flights Home 649.8
MVMCP - 183.04
Wishes Dessert Party - 86.98
Photo Pass Plus - 169.95
Total so far - 4867.91

Other food (not on DP) and various misc stuff unknown - so probably close to 6000 in the end. Sad, but true.

Looking at going in May:

May 10-19, 2013
1 adult
All Star Movies (the only value I haven't been too that I want to stay at)
9 nights
8 day park hoppers
no dining
no insurance
no special offers

$1600.81 x 1.05 = 1743.85 CAD

Air fare would cost me around $700
Food $35 a day for food = $315 x 1.05 = 330.75 CAD
Baggage fees $50 (guess)
Insurance $100 (I like to buy my own so it will include airfare)

Total: $2924.60 (a guess on the exchange)

And spending money of course so this could cost me around $3300.00 CAD

Sadly, no 2013 trip for us. We want to take a long trip out west in 2014 with one of the stops being Disneyland, so we're saving our DVC points to be able to accommodate 8 people out there. It's ok though because some of our family are taking a cruise to Bahamas out of Bayonne for spring break :)

or my usual Sept

Sept 1-10, 2013

1 adult
All Star Movies (the only value I haven't been too that I want to stay at)
9 nights
8 day park hoppers
free dining (don't have as of yet, but have gotten it every time)
no insurance

$1339.78 x 1.05 = 1406.77 CAD

Air fare (is not up yet but I have never paid more than)$500
Baggage fees $50 (guess)
Insurance $100 (I like to buy my own so it will include airfare)

Total: $2006.77(a guess on the exchange) even if I had to pay for food
($330)it would only be 2336.77

And spending money of course so this could cost me max $2700.00 CAD

That is a savings of $600 from May........maybe I should stick with Sept.....

I am assuming most of these are packages that are posted when they reference the dining plan.

Mine is:

4 Adults (2 of which will be 16yo)
Coronado Springs
8 day package with dining, park hopper and water park

$4635.06

Still need airfare, looking at approximately $1200.00

Grand total: $5835.06

Does this sound reasonable, does anyone have any tips to save some money.

Dates of travel: June 1 to 9, 2013 (8 nights/9 days)
Resort: Polynesian
Room type: Standard (aka garden view)
Our group: 2 adults, 1 child
Tickets: 9 day park hoppers
Dining plan: Disney dining plan
Trip insurance: Yes
Cost: $6,624.76

We're going to fly so our total cost will go up once flights are available and we book.

No discounts yet but hoping for one to become available that we can apply. I don't expect that to happen until early 2013. Decided to work with a TA just so we can have an extra set of eyes to help find and apply a discount.

My feelings exactly. AAA discount is way better then the one WDW released for FQ  Used to be we'd book AAA then switch over to WDW discount when released cause they were way better. Not the case any more.

Dis you phone back and check your discount?

Haven't booked yet but have it all priced out-- still debating where to stay

February 25 - March 1, 2013
5 days/4 nights
2 Adults and 3 Children
Port Orleans Riverside Alligator Bayou
Room, Tickets with PH and QSDP =$2997.62
Airfare - currently $218 RT PP so $1087. I have a $600 credit with Delta for volunteering my seat that needs to be used by June 2013. Total = $487.00 (approximately, I am going to wait out the tickets a bit)
Total = $3484.62
This is for a standard room --we haven't discussed upgraded views or anything yet.

For the same time frame here are the other two options I priced out

AoA - total without airfare = $3542.18 ( room/tix with PH and QSDP)
ASMu Family Suite - total without airfare = $3322.34
