How much did DVC points cost when you bought?

We paid $75.00 a point when we bought in early 2002 for our initial 150 points. Then in March 2002 we added 60 more at $75.00 a point. Then we added 50 and 25 more later at $84.00 a point (ouch).

I know some of you had free passes in the beginning. That is so amazing!

I'm not exactly sure but I delieve $65 a point for the first 300 BWV. Maybe $68-$69 for another 150 at BCV and am just getting 150 points at OKW for net around $74. It has gone up each time but not too much.
Whatever it was exactly it was nowhere close to what Richyams and Gail have done. I salute you guys for helping us newbies get here today. If you hadn't we might not be discussing it, right?

160 pts at 74 - BCV ($84 - $10 MB) - August 2003 (no closing costs)

We didn't know about DVC until 2001. I wish we would of known about DVC sooner.

I was just lucky to have seen in on my trip in 91 and almost as soon as it was available to CT residents, I joined. It was 2/14/92, the last valentine's gift my former husband gave me.

Dh and I have been kicking ourselves for not buying years ago when the price was low and passes were included. Oh well, better late than never! We bought BCV @ $72.00 with the 'buy back' feature.

We paid $65 but used magical beginnings and had to pay pro-rated dues (6 months worth) on the points we sold back under the old MB system, so I always say $57/point. That number looks so good now

All of our points are at $65. Bought 300 at Boardwalk in Jan. of 2000, then bought 100 point add-on at Vero in October of 2002 (which was $65 a point after magical beginnings).

I joined yesterday and paid $79 for Saratoga Springs with no closing costs. Full price soon to be $89.

Cannot wait to come home next Christmas.

It certainly seems that it will still be a bargain in years to come, and for those at $51, I bet they wish they had bought so many more points.

Our average price is $69.51 or $1.76 if you are calculating points acquired over remaining term of contracts.

$74 for BCV in June 2003 I thought it was a good deal but $50 or $60 would have been better. Those of you who got that price, good for you!!
