Hi, we are leaving Vero Beach on New Years Day to travel to UO for 5 nights at HRH!!:yay:

The plan was to leave as early as possible to make the most of NYD in the parks, soaking up whats left of the Christmas atmosphere.:santa:

But I have just heard that they do a character breakfast at VB on Saturdays, and I think that it might be a nice leisurely end to the 'Disney portion' of our vacation, especially as our two boys are still quite small (6 and 3).

If we do this, I guess we wouldn't really get to HRH until lunchtime and by the time we drop car/check in/collect tickets etc, I can't see us being in the parks until around 2pm. Do you think this will give us enough time to catch all the Christmassy stuff?? (I am assuming that they won't be adding any Christmas events to WWOHP as surely that would make it even crazier busy!!:scared1::lmao: - so we will avoid that area altogether the first day)

We have 4 + days to do the rest of UO as we are staying put onsite and not leaving until its time for our flight on thursday evening, so all I really need to cover off on NYD is the Christmassy bits - do you think 2pm to closing is long enough to do all this?? Are there any shows etc that will be all over by that time of the day and therefore we should get there earlier??

Many thanks for any info:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Unless something changes...all Christmas festivities end January 1st. You might see some decorations before they come down but that's about it. I don't know if you're going to be able to catch any shows or not since the schedule hasn't been released yet.
