I was catching up on some pocasts this past weekend and I was really taken with the Mask shop photos - Does anyone know the price range they sell for? Thanks - Whip
IF I remember right, the small, very simple ones (i.e., just the ones that cover the eyes - not full face) ran somewhere around $30-40 or so, and they went up (a lot) from there.
The cheapest one I have was $35 and it's just the eyes. The full face masks set me back as much as $125 a piece. Yes, that was in my single years. I could never afford that now.
I can see that the masks seem expensive to some guests, but they seem to be of high quality. We've found that the venetian masks at Epcot cost about a third more than if we were to actually buy them in Venice or anywhere else in Italy (using Euros)... Eye masks in Venice go anywhere from 12-25+ Euros) of course, the value of this deal may have changed in recent times due to the slowly strengthening US dollar.
Im creating an amazing race through epcot for my daughter - Im looking to have her leave with 2-3 quality gifts she can have forever. Ive settled on the pick a pearl with setting in Japan and a mask from Italy. Hopefully she can find one she loves for a couple hundred dollars. Thanks for everyones input. Whip
