Anyway, We are hoping to make a trip every other year!

Husband says once a year (or less). I vote more. As all-powerful trip planner, I've been winning that war more often than not. Although, we're going June and August this coming summer and husband is only going for one of those trips. And last year, our January trip was without him as well. Which doesn't bother him at all and doesn't bother us at all. He enjoys the bit of solitude and we enjoy Disney World.
Although (and I've said this before...), I don't foresee us continuing returning this often in the future. It's harder with the little one in public school now, and husband getting grumpier. I think the August trip will probably hang on as our yearly Disney trip and then we'll do something else in spring.
We have 3 trips planned for this year. Pretty much it comes down to how many Disney trips DH will tolerate. He sometimes has Disney overload, but the rest of us never seem to suffer from it. On occasion we have done a trip sans DH.
Uh-oh! This thread is scaring me. This will be our first on-site trip, doing multiple days of WDW. I thought we might get by with this one trip and think, "OK, that was nice. We're done." BUT I think I know deep down, there is a possibility we will be bit by the Disney bug and begin to make annual pilgrimages...
It's addictive, huh? I don't think we will escape this fate! Hi-ho-hi-ho it's off to bankrupcy we go, but at least we will go with ADR's, blisters, and a Dole whip in each hand!
Don't mind my lame sense of humor, we leave in 3 days and I've lost my mind already!
We went last year for our Honeymoon. Before that I was there in 1996. I think every year is overkill. Every 2 or 3 years is about right to me. There are so many other places to visit. Plus WDW doesn't build enough attractions for me to think a yearly trip is validated.
