How many shoes do carry to WDW in summer. The reason I am asking thinking taking:

1. tennis shoes

2. water shoes

3. birkstocks

4. pair mesh tennis shoe sandles

I trying to limit the number of shoes to put in the luggage because I going on a bus trip to WDW trying to limit pieces of luggage.

Thanks in advance.

I just bring water shoes and tennis shoes, sometimes flip flops (they don't take up much space)

I brought my Teva sandals, Ecco sandals and a pair of flip flops for the pool and that was it and I didn't get one blister!

For myself - 2 pairs of sneakers, 3 pairs of flip flops/sandels, 1 pair nice shoes
DH_ 1 pairs of sneakers, 1 pair flip flops, 1 pair casual/dress shoes\

Now my real problem is my dds they like sneaks or sandels for match every outfit! Ds is easy 2 pairs of sneaks, 2 pair flip flops. I bring shoes racks (the kind that hang up) from the dollar store so I can throw them away before we come home.

One of the best tips I got was to bring two pair of sneakers/tennis shoes (I pretty much live in sneakers). We got caught in a torrential downpour in MK and my sneaks were soaked through. If I hadn't brought a second pair, I would've been in trouble. We also brought cheap flip-flops for the sole purpose of wearing on Kali River Rapids. We changed into them just before entering the line. I was grateful for that tip also.

I bring two pairs of sneakers, one pair of good walking sandals and sometimes flip flops... :sunny:

Okay....what are birkstocks??!!!

I bring 2 pairs of sneakers, Flip Flops for pool, and casual shoes to wear with a skirt.

Hi,

In the summer we just bring a pair of sneakers and a pair of sandals. We were Nike ACG sandals. We find them confortable. We wear our sneakers down on the plane and just pack the sandals.

In the winter we bring two pairs of sneakers. We wear a pair down on the plane and pack a second pair just in case.

Well, I now bring 1 pair of sneakers and 2 pairs of Birkenstocks and a pair of flip flops for the pool.

However, I still laugh to this day about my sister and I on our first trip to WDW. We packed a whole suitcase full of shoes for the trip!!! :rotfl2: That was before we became really seasoned travelers who would leave for WDW at the drop of a hat with just the things we could pack in about 30 minutes! My, how we've changed. And how much better we like it. :earsgirl:

DH and I each bring 2 pair of walking type sneakers, 1 pr. dress shoes and water shoes.

Hi Totalia!

Water shoes are slip on shoes with a mesh-like material on top and a rubbery sole. They can be worn right on the water slides at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Also, they protect your feet from the hot sand or rough shore bottom.

I only brought 1 pair of tennis shoes. We don't do water rides so they don't get wet at the parks. And if we want to go to the pool I just wear them there too. Saves lots of space in a suitcase with no shoes in there.

1 pr of sneakers, 1 pr of flipflops for the pool and 1 pair of dressy, flat sandals and that's it!!! Del

one pair tennis shoes and one pair flipflops. We put our flipflops on when we are going on a ride where we may get wet and wear them to the pool.

I wear the bulky sneakers to save space in the suitcase and pack a pair of cheap Teva-type sandals. If it looks like we'll get wet (rain, rides), then we wear the sandals; if the day looks like a dry one, it's sneakers. When I go solo, I include one nicer pair of sandals to wear to dinners and such. Normally, we live in the sandals the entire trip.

I wear my leather slides on the flight down and back..makes going thru security easier. I pack sneakers and sport sandals that can get wet. Then I alternate the sneakers and sport sandals during the day. Sometimes, if I'm not going to be walking a huge amount I will wear the slides. If you do get your sneakers wet, as we did during a torrential downpour in August...stuff them with newspaper and let dry overnight!! It really worked for us. Otherwise it took forever for them to dry out.

I pack three pairs of shoes...a pair of Keds tennis sneakers, a nice pair of cushioned flip flops to wear in the park, and a pair of cheaper flip flops to wear around the resort/pool.
