Going Back to POR in April..... :cheer2:

Our trip this April we are staying at AKL for the first time. That will be our 9th resort - 3 deluxe, 3 moderate, and 3 value. We have only had one resort (Poly in 1986) that we did not feel was all that we expected.

I made the 10 or more category. And that's not even including the Swan which is on property, although not a real Disney reosrt.

Take care,

Bill

My signature says it all! I've stayed at 10 different Disney resorts since 1972. I hope to add Pop Century to my list in 2005 :cool1:

Off Property 1986 ( not my choice I was 11)
Carribbean Beach 1998
All Star Sports 1998
All Star Music 1999
All Star Movies 2000
All Star Music 2001
All Star Music (2005.. ok well next week)

CSR
CR
OKW
VWL
POLY
AKL
BCV

I'm still trying to decide what to do about this summers trip. Thinking maybe POFQ, Ft. Wilderness Cabins, or SSR. Maybe will try 2 of those 3.

We've only stayed at three on-site resorts so far... but 2005 will add 4 four resorts to our list!

FW cabins
Poly
Dolphin
2005 - Pop, AKL, BW, CR

and not done planning 2006 :goodvibes

I've stayed at four.

In 1981, I stayed at Club Lake Villas, which was part of the Disney convention center that became Disney Institute. Terrific L-shaped rooms, which separated the bedroom from the public area. I was crushed because I couldn't get a reservation at the Contemporary Resort for the time I was visiting!

In 2003, I stayed at Yacht Club, then Coronado Springs. In 2004, Pop Century. Enjoyed all of the resorts for different reasons! Very good service at all of them, as well.

Hoping to squeeze time and money for a Holiday 2006 visit, probably at PC again.

Since 1997, though most of these are in the past few years. Before 1997 we always stayed offsite or with family
All Stars *1
Pop *1
POFQ *1
CBR *1
AKL *4
Swan *1
Dolphin *1

CS should be added to the list as of this Easter

My goal was to stay at a different resort each trip. I don't know if that will ever happen as I just switched my next trip from CSR (haven't been before) back to POR (which I LOVE). I'm justifying this by requesting the Bayou section this time - already did the mansions. :cool1:

I used to have that goal! But then I quickly develop favorites and abandon that goal!

Up to today, just four:
Polynesian
Dixie Landings
Coronado Springs
Carribean Beach.

But this May, in order to try a couple more, we're doing our first "split" trip so I'll be able to add:
Pop Century and
Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Is it May YET???
