How many men are wearing crocs?

I think I'd rather eat glass (or ride Stitch) than ever put crocs on my feet. Saw a guy our last trip wearing hot pink crocs-----you know, in case the 'regular' crocs weren't ugly enough, he stepped it up a notch and got some hot pink ones.

He also pointed out the interior decorating on the GF, if that helps.

I think I'm saying that just because something is comfortable, doesn't necessarily mean that you have Carte Blanche to wear it. Sometimes the ugliness factor overrides the comfort...For example and extremely tight bikini top on a "pooh sized" person might be comfortable...But should they wear it?...In public? (No negative comments regarding size, gender, or sexual orientation here)

My boyfriend has very sensitive feet and with our upcoming trip I was freaking out about his tender toes. I made him recently try the crocs. He loves them and they are very comfortable for his feet. So when we go together in Feb. I have no worries!!

My FH has two pairs, and one of them is a Disney pair! We loved them at Animal Kingdom, where our feet got SOAKED on Kali. If we would have worn tennis shoes and gotten our feet soaked (which trust me, on that ride we would have) we would have had wet feet and blisters all day. The crocs let our feet dry.

People wear things in Disney that they don't wear anywhere else. Fanny packs, Mickey ears, birthday cake hats... trust me when I say no one cares if you're wearing crocs or not!

I am a guy. I SO want a pair of crocs to wear around Dsiney. I don't think I'd wear them anywhere else but definately at Disney.

My husband and two sons (ages 23 and 18) all wore Crocs on our trip in December. It was funny, because the first day, they would not wear them, but after seeing how many people...men, women and children.....were wearing them, they changed their minds. They went for the comfort, and were very happy! By the way...we saw LOTS of men wearing them. If you get them, wear them around the house to break them in. They don't require alot of break-in, but they do get better as they are worn more. Also, don't buy them too small! They are supposed to fit big. I love them! I now have 6 pairs! My favorite now are my new "winter" Crocs! They are solid (no holes) with a leather top like the LL Bean boots. They are GREAT! I didn't wear them in Disney, though.

Interesting question. I, for one, as a male, wouldn't be caught dead in the clog-type Crocs, and won't let my boys wear them, as I find them kind of fruity. That said, my DB swears by the clog-Crocs, and my BIL likes the Croc Flipflops.

We were there last month and saw many men in Crocs. My sister and I both love our crocs and brought them with us, when the temps weren't too cool, we wore them to the parks. Prior to leaving home my sister tried to talk BIL into getting a pair, he wouldn't hear of it and brought his "comfy sneakers". Well, after 4 days he was ready to take someone else's crocs his feet hurt so much! We wound up buying him a pair at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD. He LOVED THEM and wore them the rest of the trip!

Being a retired Navy SEAL, perhaps your husband has proven his manliness beyond reproach. Myself, being a cowardly insecure little man, however, would never let them touch my feet! People have enough ammo to hit me with that it would do no good giving them extra.

I am soooooo glad I asked this question... My hubby retired Navy Chief isn't giving in too much but for some reason always wears mine outside to let the dogs out or smoke. My youngest and middle son both had me get them a pair. I can't get past the bright orange pair middle son got. I keep telling myself its a teen thing LOL The youngest son got a black pair.. his blends better LOL I still have hope my hubby will get a pair or either he will make me wear my celery green ones and he will wear my black pair... Won't that be a sight .... Celery green, bright orange and 2 pair of black crocs. The oldest son REFUSES to even consider a pair... He has his Speery boat shoes or something like that... We called them docker's back in the 80's LOL Now "Dockers" are pants... Thanks for all the great response and help in deciding our fashion statement to be made at WDW.

People have other reasons for wearing them than comfort you know.

My feet sweat something horrible in tennis shoes. But not in Crocs because they're vented. So I wear the crocs.

I didn't realize that people were so judgmental over shoe choice

Oh, and I'm getting tired of the "It's Disney World, so I should be allowed/have no problem doing/wearing ______". It's a vacation destination, but it isn't survivor island where you come to dinner naked because you can.

We live in a college town and everyone wears them - kids to adults. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

My husband and boys don't have an issue with trying to prove themselves. The shoes are comfortable....so they wear them. No big deal.

I do admit I feel like Minnie Mouse in mine....the shoes are funny looking! But, they feel super on my feet.

We don't wear them to be trendy....we wear them because we are SMART!
