OK, this is my second attempt to post my first poll.

So, how many hours a week do you exercise?

For me, I mean in the gym; I don't count anything else, and keep your hats on but, for me, generally speaking it's 15+ hours/week - you gotta work hard to look this good! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And I mean WORK: I use the machines (cardio and weights) and work with free weights, but in orer to log so many hours I also take lots of classes: spinning, kick boxing, tai chi, power pump, and step (without actually USING my step).

Last July I actually came in second (only lost by one class) in our annual Tour de France month-long spinning competition, where we mimic whatever the real riders are doing that day (time trials, flats, moutains).

I love it all. It does nothing for my weight, but it's got to be good for my health.

Oooh, it's so exciting; my first poll!

15+ hours/week! - oy vey:scared:
How do you get any work done?
I go every day 60 /90 minutes alternating-
and I can hardly fit that in.

Good news is - I've lost quit a bit so far!:cool1:

I am a pig and don't do a thing. Only weight lifting I do is 12 ounces at a time.

You have been known to lob a bible or two over at the community board!
Warranted of course.;)

Yes! Yes! Aren't you the smart one; I knew this poll would REALLY out me :lmao:

I DO work - quite a bit, but as a consultant, trainer, teacher ... that sort of thing, so my time is often my own. I can be lost in work for three works (as I was up until two weeks ago, traveling to DelRay Beach and then CT) or I could have more time on my hands.

When I'm in town, 15 hours is my minimum goal for the week. If I hit it I feel good and the rest is all fun.

If, for any reason, such as seeing one too many docs that week, I fall short, I know I tried.

Size 00 here you come!

LOL!!!

Yes, well, I'm afraid it makes no - apparent - difference; I've been exercising hard for years; I fear all the effort only keeps me from being a size 100!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I'm with Rick, only 12 ounces at a time!:cool1:

But I would love to keep track of my cardio at work! One of these days I'm gonna get me one of those things to keep track of how far I walk each day at work......

Maybe Viki means exercise demons!:rotfl:

OMG!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

LOL!!! You guys are hopeless ...(tears streaming from my eyes)!

I'm gonna take this poll over to the Community Board -they have a LOT more sense over there!

Just got into the whole gym thing this year. Signed up on 12/31 (which was a REAL stupid thing to do since it was in Pasadena and all the crazies were everywhere waiting for the Rose Parade) and have been going 3 days/week. Putting in about 2 hours each time so I guess that's only 6 hours.... but then there's all the time to try and pick myself off the floor after being beaten into submission by the trainer. I think I've only got 8 more sessions with him. He's a young kid and didn't get my comment about the Marquis de Sade....though his lip did curl up a bit

Currently I am lifting 12 oz also.......
(I just had to check to see if that was the correct oz!!!)

Don't you just love snowy days!!!!

I KNEW that bull terrier looked familiar!

M

:worship: Wow - you knew she was a bull terrier!
10 points for you!

After the horrors of the results of my first ever poll and just driving my teen son to work (in the snow), I'm 32 minutes away from lifting 32 ounces of white wine (8 oz at a time), which, now that I think about it, might be why the gym doesn't work!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

How many hours at the gym? Hmmm... ideally 2 hours per day (am) for six days a week. Lately it's been more like 1-1/2 hour four days per week. :confused3

We do cardio and weights. Same here for weight though (and same for my partner) no weight loss. But we keep going!
