How many exes do you have?

My husband is my third serious relationship. I dated someone for 3 years after I got divorced before meeting him. So the answer is either 1 or 2 depending on how you look at it.

I took the question to mean ex-spouses, not just "dates".

My DH was the first boyfriend who lasted more than about 3 months, though, so I really don't have what I'd call "hard feelings" exes (where we'd invested a lot of time in a relationship that didn't work out.)

Yeah, I’m assuming most are meaning ex-spouse. Not ex-dating partner. Most people I know dated several people before they got engaged/married.

I guess that depends on how you define an "ex." If you mean spouse that is zero because I have never been married. Serious, long term relationship then one, my daughters' father. Men I've dated and/or had a "casual" relationship 5 or 6. Men I've went on a few dates but didn't have a real relationship add 2 - 3. Most in the past 5 years.

Zero & zero. We started dating in high school, got engaged during college, and got married the week after graduation.

I will say that some people do surprise me, though. I’m a guy and even I saw all of these red flags with one woman I knew. She was going to become the third wife. Dude had two ex-wives, children with both of them and had a kid with a third woman as well. Fast forward, he cheated on her and the woman he was cheating with married him. So apparently, someone out there thought that this guy who is cheating on his third wife would be a good one to marry and become his fourth wife. I told my wife that he’s a train wreck and I don’t understand any woman who would even consider getting coffee with him once they knew his background.

7 Ex - Girlfriends. 1 of the first 4 was long term (three years during high school. we still exchange e-mails) The last three were after the divorce, 1 of them lasted about three years until I moved to NC and she loved snow to much to leave Vermont... Go figure!
