How many Disney resorts have you stayed in?

Tree house/golf course villas - first trip to WDW and of course, sadly they no longer exist - Saratoga Springs there now....loved renting golf carts and using them to get to and from DTD (when Chef Mickey's was an awesome steak restaurant there)

Dixie Landings - three times; now POR; my DS's favorite due to good memories

POP - once (and never again we had such a bad experience there)

OKW - once - really spacious, nice 2 BR villa but we thought the pool was "ordinary"

AKL - many times in various accomodations - our favorite!!

WL - 2BR villa - much smaller than the OKW villa; not one of our favorite trips to WDW - transportation was horrible, food court a joke. But, loved Whispering Canyon and Artist Point. Pool was really nice too.

upcoming - first stay at CR; 1 BR suite; first split stay too (CR 2 nights; AKL 3 nights) Looking forward to our Tower Bay view (booked too late to get MK view) and the Tower lounge for viewing fireworks.

All of them, with the exception of Shades of Green.

I might be off on FW visits. They were family visits when I was a kid. Then, I stayed there as an adult as well, so there might be more.

Check out sig, and will be staying at OKW again this Septempber. I love OKW and POR. I wasn't a big fan of CBR!

We have stayed in these:

Polynesian
Contemporary
Swan
Dolphin
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Wilderness Lodge
Grand Floridian
CSR
CBR
All Star Music
POR

Our favorite is the Polynesian. Followed closely by the Yacht and Beach Club. I'd say next in line is the Swan and Dolphin. We love being on the monorail line and the Epcot Resort area isn't chopped liver either.

Out of the ones we haven't tried yet, I'd like to try the Boardwalk and AKL. But, I wouldn't want to stay at AKL for an entire trip, it would have to be a split stay. I think it's too far removed but I would like to try it for a few days, especially in concierge so we could do the Sunrise Safari.

Grand Floridian
Caribbean Beach
All Star Movies
Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans Riverside
Pop Century
All Star Sports

Hmmm...only 7 thought it would be more :rotfl:

Grand Floridian was probably my favourite. It was so luxurious. Then POFQ would be a close second I think. We are plannig to stay at Corondo Springs next and of course Animal Kingdom is on our list.

Polynesian (1975/Our Disneymoon! )
Caribbean Beach Resort
Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans Riverside
Coronado Springs Resort
All Star Sports
All Star Music
All Star Movies
Pop Century
Wilderness Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Saratoga Springs Resort
Hotel Royal Plaza (Downtown Disney)
Vero Beach Resort
Hilton Head Resort
and saving the best for last--
The Disney Magic!pirate:

In no particular order:

Port Orleans Riverside
Port Orleans French Quarter
All Star Music
Contemporary
Poly
Beach club
Coronado Springs

Trying to pick a favorite is tough, but if forced to choose I would choose the Poly. Just because it is so darn easy to get wherever you need to go from there. And I love watching Wishes from the beach!:hippie:

Least fav--the Beach Club. I know I'm in the minority, but it didn't do anything for me.

I really oved the BWI, the pool slide was great, and I loved the large rooms.
I also, really like AKL and watching the animals. In my opinion all these hotels have something special, its hard to pick just 1 favorite!!!

Caribbean Beach Resort
Port Orleans Riverside (Dixie Landings at that time)
Port Orleans French Quarter
Beach Club
Boardwalk Inn (Our favorite - we've stayed here three times)

Disney Institute
Poly
AKL
Swan
OKW

The best for me would be half stay at the Poly and last half at OKW!

In this order:
ASMU/CR( N.Wing) split stay
CBR
DOLPHIN( tho technically not WDWowned)
WL/(DOLPHIN 2nd visit split stay)
POP/POLYNESIAN split stay

So we have stayed at 7...top 3 preferences are Polynesian, Dolphin, CR, and as stated by others,,,all have reasons to be #1 at any given time but the size of the rooms at both The Polynesian and CR was awesome...especially moving over from a value, but really love the themeing of the values and their food courts, so I'll stay at any of them!
