How many days do you go to WDW for ???

This will only be my second time to WDW, wish it was more and maybe now I'll be able to gone at least once a year. First time with the xdw, we went for 3days/4 nights, not enough time. Now I'm taking my 10 yr. ds for 6 days/ 7 nights, his first time and hopefully not his last, don't know who's more excited him or me:teeth:

We're DVC Members. Since we did that we go for extra trips each year. And we bought annual passes so we want to get the most out of them.

We stay 4 - 9 days - as school vacations will allow.

Thinking of buying more points so we can go more.

It gets chaeper. This trip we don't have to pay for room (points) we don't have to buy tickets (annual pass) so all it is costing is our flight and food. WOW I could co more of that.

You enjoy the reorts amd pools more when you don't have the pressure. There's always next trip.

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

5 nights is our usual stay. Our longest trip was 8 nights, and I honestly thought that was too long. I was ready to go home. 5 nights for us is perfect...long enough to do the things we love but not long enough for us to get tired of it. :)

We always stay 7-10 days. This June we are going 12 days and I can't wait!!!!!!:Pinkbounc

our trip in june/july will be 14 nights at three different resorts...we will be staying the first night at allstar movies and then moving over for 10 nights at wilderness lodge villas and then over the animal kingdom lodge for 3 nights...can't wait...this will be our longest trip to the world....

we have a trip planned in december for the new year that will have us there for 8 nights...

but...we have stayed as few as two nights during a quick, last minute trip during the labor day weekend a few years back...in hindsight, that was one of our best trips ever...

We went 2 years ago for 18 days...We split up the trip...8 days
at the World...4 days at the beach... back to Universal for 2 days
(wish we had stayed at Disney...hotels very inferior to Disney
on-site)...thenback to Disney for the rest! Pretty pricey(have 5 in
my family) but a trip ofa lifetime! We are going back in June for
11 days(Not counting 2 days traveltime) Can't wait!
I'm just hoping that we haven't signed up for too long!
Do most of you guys just see the same thing over and over again?
I could do that, just don't know if the hubby will get bored!
By the way, How do you do the Countdown Thing at the bottom
of most messages? My kids would get a kick out of that!

30-40 days in the summer. Anywhere from a day trip to 2 weeks other times of the year.

An average trip for me is 9 days, which is what I'm doing in September (Sat-Sat, although I'm flying in Friday night, so technically it's 10 days). I like this because it's only a week of vacation, but you can do so much. And going in September, I should be able to slow it down a little and enjoy myself.

I've done as little as 3 days. I wouldn't do that as my primary vacation, but I wanted to go to Disney for the Food and Wine Festival, and it worked for that. I'm doing that again this year, although this time it will be four days. This is plenty for me, especially since I will have just been there, but I'm taking my mom and I'm afraid I won't have time to show here everything I want to. But at least I'm taking her :)

Last September I was there for 12 nights 13 days, but I had a conference for work for 3 1/2 days in the middle. Because of that I was utterly exhausted by the 11th day. I actually fell asleep on the bus in the middle of the day park hopping. But that's because I pushed myself on the days I was vacationing, and then I had to work from basically 7:30 am to 10:30 every night of the conference (while I wasn't actually 'working' I did have to be with clients constantly, answering questions, schmoozing, that sort of thing).

In Oct of 2004 I'm planning on doing 2 weeks for the birthday that shall not be named hoopla. I'm either going to do a week at WDW then a week on DCL (Western Carribbean), or just two solid weeks at WDW. Either way that will be my longest trip yet. If I do the straight two weeks, I'm going to do a day at the spa and hopefully the Richard Petty Driving Experience (if I learn to drive a stick in the next 18 months!). I really want to do the cruise, but the issue is whether or not I'll have someone to go with me. I have no problem going alone, but if I'm going to pay the price of two people, there might as well actually be two people!

BTW BryantlovesDisney, if you go to the technical board, there is a post there that takes you through the steps to add a countdown to your sig.

We stayed 10 days July 2002 and 11 days December 2002. We will be there for 10 days in May 2003. Can't wait!!!!!!!

We fly down one day, have 7 full days in the parks, and fly back the next day.

5 days so far this year. Got a 5 day trip coming in a couple weeks. Trying to get my money's worth out of my AP.

It depends. Last December I had an 11 day trip, my May trip coming up will only be 9 days.

I had 4 trips last year, none of them shorter than 10 days. This year I only have 3 trips planned.

We've done 4 days at the parks (6 total in Orlando)

3 days / 5 total

This upcoming trip we will still do 4 days, but we will be in Orlando for a little over a week (plan on doing some DTD/Boardwalk time on those non-park days).

I think our next trip will be longer---maybe 5-7 days at the parks, and stay onsite entirely...but that will take some advance planning for sure...
