I have 8 in progress right now. 5 of them I am working on daily (well trying anyway). 3 are gettysburg (one for me, one for Mom, one for nephew) and 2 are tournament baseball (one for coach one for son).....Just wondered what everyone else does. My other 3 are works in progress....family album, sons album, and a try to keep up with disney album (redoing old trips)

How do you stay organized..I have some trouble with that. I will get on a roll with one and when I go back to the others I forget what I had planned. Does anyone else have this problem. How do you keep notes/papers organized to stay focused. :confused3

I am going to a weekend crop....48 hours of total scrapbooking so I want to get very organized. Can't afford to forget something or run out of adhesive  So I need your organizational tips for multi album making.

Wow I thought I had alot :) I have a Disney album I am doing, and 1 of my DS and 1 of my DD. :)

I just bought a 12x12 file folder system. I plan out what I am doing, put the pics, paper and stickers in order I want to do them. Works out great!

1 tape runner with 3 refills
1 mini with 2 refills
2 packs of pages
*my paper (this includes short cuts)
*sticker notebook
my cm cutting system (I forgot this 1 time & I sure missed it)
my 12" cutters
album ideas
albums I am working on (I try to only bring 2 albums at a time ~ that way I can stay focused)

** IF I get my stuff power sort/layouts done before I go, I accomplish SO much more!

I really recommend you spend time to sort/organize and pick out your layouts before you go. I spent way too much time organizing when I could have gotten pages completed.

Have lots of fun!

Too many !! I have three disney albums, family album, church album, graduation album, friends album and I could go on. I tend tyo get bored easily so I jump from album to album depending on my mood.

Currently I guess 3. My stepdads album, my Disney album and my youngest sons school album are all in progress.

I hope to have my stepdads album done this weekend. My Disney album will be on my own time when I feel like doing it and I think I only need to do about 4-6 pages on my son's school album before it is up to date.

I won't start any more until those 2 are finished. I have scrapping burnout right now. I have completed my stepdads albums, everything but journaling - 152 pages this month in his books alone.

Just one....Mom's birthday album. (Her birthday was July 9th, so you see what's going on here... )

That's why I'm in a scrapping frenzy this week. I've gotta get that finished. (Of course she doesn't know I'm working on this exactly. I just told her it would be a surprise.) It's going to be hard for me to part with this one when it's done. I haven't even started on mine from the same trip (much less the ones from last June, September, and December).

Regular vacation album (non-WDW), August birthdays album, Disney is complete for now, Christmas album.

I guess I'm, only working on 2, but I need 2 more Feb birthday albums (my side and his). I need to start a friends album. My albums are organized weird, but the Feb and August birthday albums are because they are big gathering for us. I do need to start other family gatherings albums to.

90% of my photos are in a PowerSort box. I put notes in there if I get ideas. When ready toscrap, I have it. I usually only scrap one thing at a time, though. I iwll put a group of pages into my PowerLayouts box for one album. When I finish that group, I decide if I will switch albums or stay with what I've been working on.

4, no wait, 5. Disney album, regular family album, DS school album, vacation album and our wedding album.

Hmm, let's see . . .

Small Disney trip album (from multiple quick trips to DL)
MIL's Christmas gift album (of her and new hubby)
Travel album (from multiple trips with DH)
Friends/Life album (DH and I don't have kids so we scrap fun times with friends and life in general like when we volunteer, etc.)

I guess that's all so it means I only have 4. Not bad for just starting to scrap in February. :earseek:

I'm currently getting myself organized to start the following:
WDW trip (going in Dec. 05 - already purchased album and some paper)
Wedding Album - long story but essentially had a problem with my photographer so I will be doing it myself. That's OK - it will be better that way! I received a beautiful, archival leather-bound album as a wedding gift so I will be using that. I have most of the memorabilia together and am just waiting on news for the photos.

I organize my album ideas with stickey notes and notebook. If I have an idea for a page that I'm currently working on but I don't want to do it right that moment or I need additional supplies, I write myself a stickey and put it on the page right in the album. I don't put on page protectors until a page is completely done so I know that the pages without protectors need more work.

I also keep a small notebook that I use to jot down ideas for layouts. This is also where I list any supplies I need for any of my stickied pages in my albums. I then take the notebook with me when I know that I'll be shopping for supplies so that I can stock up on the stuff I need instead of buying whatever looks good and finding that it doesn't work for any of my layouts. This probably isn't the best method for organization but it works pretty well for me!

Family album (chrono)
DD album (highlights)
DS album (highlights)
Disney album (finishing off our land/sea from Dec)
Disney ABC album (using photos from vacations before I started scrapping)
Disneyland 2005 album (we are going 4 times this year, so it's all going into one summary)

I scrap very slowly and only when I can (so glad to have the swap items because that will speed things up and inspire me to get them done!). I'll never be caught up!

Working on? hahahhaha

Need to work on? 2+

I am up to Easter in my 2005 book except have 3 layouts from Jan 05 to finish so I'm not too behind... But I *know* my July trip will take 1 poss 2 books but I can't start that until I get my swap stuff done (LP Swap- almost done, card Swap- Almost done, Scavanger Swap- Started, Cruise- Have supplies, Color (2)- Have supplies)

Then I'll hurry and catch up on my year book then start scrapping DL for May and July 05

Let's see... Nephew Matthew's book from the disney trip we took Dec of '03; Sorority scrapbook for current year (2005-06); Sorrority scrapbook from a couple of years ago (2003-04); Little gift book for chapter valentine queen 2005, disney cruise book (and 3 matching books for friends); personal red hat club book, Queen mum's red hat book, retirement book for someone at work; that's all I can think of right now so that is 11 total.

I am sure as soon as I hit submit, I will think of 2 or 3 more.

Just 3......wedding (from 12 years ago :guilty: ) Last Disney visit (2003) and my DD book.

I also have one other album to work on that isn't started...Key West...and four days of rain....that ought to be fun to scrap....lol!!! Glad to know we are all addicted but lovin' it.

Working on and buying supplies for...is that the same thing? Currently I'm in the middle of a move so I'm not really "working" on anything but I'm buying supplies for MANY albums in progress....
DD and DS chronological albums
Disney 2005 album
3 autograph books for DS, DD and Nephew from 2005
DS School album
Birthday album's for DS and DD
I also have "in progress" but not really thinking about...
Christmas album
Buddy the elf album (our elf that comes at christmas)
I like to have as many projects going on at one time....:teeth:

 Lets see,

Disneymoon album, last Disney vacation, brothers wedding ablum, 2 shower gift albums, 2 birthday gift albums (nephew and niece) and 2 ongoing family things albums.

So really 3 big ones, and 4 little ones, and 2 that are a few pages here and there.

I stay organized (or try to) with 3 power sort boxes from CM, and then I keep all my paper in order (using those cubs from target) and my stamps are in clear drawers that are labeled. I am bad with the stickers. I tend to have them all over, I try different organizational styles with them, but their odd shapes hinder the plan. :confused3

I don't know how you all stay organized working on all those albums! I must have an easily distracted mind; I can only work on one at a time. Right now I am working on our Disney trip in May: and all other progress stops. I don't develop pictures for our family album, I don't start anything new until I finish what I am working on. Sometimes I will take a break to do a quick gift album, but I can't really jump back and forth between albums. My dad says I can't chew gum and walk at the same time without running into a wall, so that might give you some insight into me! :confused3

I am currently working on our Disney album, and Stephres, I'm like you! I can't work on more than one without getting really distracted! :rotfl2:

I NEED to be working on our family album, a travel album of all of our non-Disney trips, a cruise album (from 2 years ago!), and our Disney album from March '04 that I haven't done! I am only slightly behind!

Oh well, at least I know I have enough to scrapbook so my addiction can continue! :earsgirl:

I am actively working on my daughter's scrapbook...she just turned 20 and I am up to grade 9 I believe...I plan to scrap events through her high school graduation and then she'll take over with her own book(s).

I have bought an album for our February 4-11, 2006 Disney cruise. I buy papers or stickers I see that I think are cute or fitting. Hopefully by the time we go on the cruise I will have completed my daughter's book.

My husband and I also hope to take a trip to Hawaii to visit my nephew before he moves back to the states so I started buying stickers and papers for that as well...maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part?

I am doing a Civil War Battlefield Album for my husband - a Disney album for our September trip, and a vacation album of previous vacations. I would love to hear some of your ideas of Gettysburg - LOVED IT THERE!!!!!!!! Havn't done those pages yet.
