How long to get from the Poly to AK

Hi Just trying to map out my days and want to do AK and MGM on Saturday April 9th. I'm thinking that this might be a long day for the kids, (DS 5, DD 4) and my wife. I would like to return in between the parks for some down time, pool, nap, or whatever. I have nothing planned at MGM till 4:30pm when we are doing PS at Hollywood and Vine with Fantasmic at 8:30. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to Animal Kingdom, and MGM from the Poly using Disney Transportaion.

90 mins from Poly to AK (I had to calcuate in reverse for some reason)

Would it be possible to walk to the TTC and get on a bus directly to AK or MGM?

I have been thinking about this since last year when we gave up on the AK bus from the Poly bus stop and took a cab ($15.00).

Yes, there are busses to the other parks that run from the TTC all day. And yes, this is usually MUCH quicker than trying to get a bus from any of the monorail resorts.

We usually drive to MGM and AK but in our limited experiences with the buses, I totally agree.

I believe the buses at the TTC run on a fixed 20 minute schedule from reading one of Tyler's posts. Then maybe a 10 minute drive to MGM and 20 minutes to AK.
