Thought it might be interesting to see how the membership evolved. How many years have you been a DVC member? Or are you planning to become one? We joined in 1998.

We just joined in April '06 and are already planning to take our seciond trip home this December. Our first was 2 weeks ago! We are so happy we joined.

We're planning to join, patiently waiting for a DL DVC.

Almost bought SSR last winter though. Boy, it sure is hard being patient when you're so excited about DVC, for me anyway. It's not so hard for DH. He's set on a DL DVC, and so he'll happily wait with no "buts" about it.

Joined a few months after 9/11. I had a solo trip planned, and they closed my resort (POR) after I'd made arrangements. I decided to look into DVC-"They don't close DVC, do they?"

we also got to kept the boat to DD when they closed it for PO - since we (DVC members) were paying for it.

We bought SSR in Nov 05. Our DD's did not want to leave the children's area to go to EPCOT!!

Members since June 2000 VB 250pts - best souvenir purchase we made from our first ever WDW trip after that all our offsite stays at DL obsolete - been staying at GC when in DLR - used pts for II Hawaii & Whistler,Canada - haven't been back to WDW since then but in the planning for June 2007- DS graduating MS present - guess have to start Nov 1 st to make ressie in the 7 mo window - been learning lots abt the diff resorts and ressies - thanks to all - would definitely need lots of
