How long are the shows on average?

So I leave TOMORROW MORNING (I still can't believe it) and I was wondering on average how long the shows are at night. We have the late seating for dinner, and I'm just not sure if we need to dress for dinner before we go to the show, or if we have time to go change in between the two?

Have a great trip!

I'm interested in this too, we leave in two weeks!:bounce:

If I remember right - they are approx. 1 hour.

We always had plenty of time to "dress up" between the show and dinner.

Have a great time!! :teeth:

The production shows run about 45-50 minutes; the cabaret-comedy shows, etc Maybe a little longer. We always had enough time to dress after the shows before our 8:30 seating.

That's the beauty of late dining. You can go to the shows dressed casually & go back to get dressed before dinner. You will miss the family caberet shows if you do this, but the day is at a more relaxed pace.

On formal/semi formal nights it is best to get dressed first, as there is alot going on.

Have a wonderful, "Magical" cruise!

Congratulations on leaving for your cruise tomorrow! Have a great time and please report on the romance package when you get back. I added the RP because of your posts and I'm quite excited about it ::yes::

Thanks Heidi, and I'll be sure to do so!! :)

45 mins left of work today, then home to pack, put the dogs in the kennel and get ready to get up at 3am to fly out of Logan Airport tomorrow at 6am... *sigh* Oh well, I can nap in the Florida sun all day tomorrow to rest up for boarding the ship Saturday!!

If you wait to dress between the main WDT show and dinner you will be missing out on some of the best entertainment the ship has to offer. The family cabarette shows and game shows between the dinner seatings are a lot of fun.

The main stage shows in the WDT run about an hour
The cabarette shows / "game shows" run about 30 minutes

We did ok with this in general - as noted, there were fun shows at 7:45 and we did get to a few of them as well, even with waiting to dress for dinner (which in general only took a few minutes, thank goodness). I noticed that having the late seating meant that we missed out on a few "family oriented" things, so I'm torn as to whether I'd go with the late seating again. I LOVED the not having to rush through the day and the early shows, as I prefer to watch them before I was stuffed full and had a drink or two at dinner...but then again the family things might have been fun too. *shrug* We didn't have a choice, so I guess I don't mind at all...it was all good!

The4OfUs: that's DCL's "Dirty Little Secret" - you have to make some very difficult decisions on what you are going to do and what you are going to miss.
