We've eaten in many resturants in WDW, but never Tony's. How is it? I'm interested for our next trip.(if I can get an ADR at this point).

You might want to try the search. I have never been, but I think not too many DIS'ers like Tony's.

We loved Tony's! We had dinner there on our last trip...
The atmosphere was great, food portions huge, and our waiter extremely attentive. DH had the salmon, DD and I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and DS had some chicken dish. Everything was very, very good!
We are going there again for our next trip. :goodvibes

We ate there the other night for the first time (I think it was Tuesday, it's all a blur right now;) ). I thought it was pretty good. It's a bit expensive but the food was good.

We ate there back in June and thought it was very good. Enough to make a ressie agian in Oct.!

I had the Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. Im not crazy about It. Saus., but theirs is outta this world. DW had it also, but wouldnt eat the sausage, so DS ate it and liked as much as me. DD had a pizza and it was good too.

The waiters were a hoot! As fun as 50s or WCC and unexpected, but a fun treat all the same.

We went several years ago and wasnt impressed. So we gave it a try again and very glad we did. Go for lunch. Same basic menu, heaping portions for less $$

Thanks for the good reviews. MY DW and I have an ADR for Tony's in December. We have not had dinner there since our first trip to WDW with the "little ones" in 1989. This time it will be just the two of us. Maybe we will share the spaghetti. ;)

Great for lunch. We've eaten here every trip. Once for dinner but didn't really care for it. Lunch is good. We request to sit on the "patio" when we check in (it's the fully AC glass enclosed area closest to Main St. We like to people watch! :) ). The sandwiches are great!

I miss Breakfast at Tony's! I wish they would bring it back. Lady & Tramp waffles. Frittatas. Omelets. Sausage. One of our family traditions that went by the wayside. We do not enjoy lunch/dinner nearly as much as we enjoyed breakfast.

We ate there for dinner in 06'. It was really good. It was a very cute place and the staff was nice.

We had dinner at Tony's in January and it was excellent! It was one of our favorites restaurants of the trip.

Thank you for all your responses! I will have to consider it for one of my dinner ADR'S. Now, I wonder if I'll get it???:confused3

We had dinner there on the porch. My family loved it. We had dessert while watching Spectromagic. The steaks were good. My DH wants to eat there again. I know it gets some bad reviews - but we really enjoyed our meal.

We have eaten at Tony's many times over the years. Some meals are much better than others. Like all Disney restaurants they change the menu, although they seem to change it more often. We always like the atmosphere.

We had a pretty bad experience for dinner there in 98 and I swore it off, never to go back again. Well, I was looking for a place for lunch on our MK day on our next trip, and for some reason, I felt it was time to give Tony's another shot. The menu does look good to us.

So, we will be eating there in about 2 weeks and I am hoping they redeem themselves. I will then need to come back here and take back all the bad I've said over the years. ;)

We went there last year and it was pretty good. It's nothing to write home about because there were some ingredients I disliked. But all in all, it was a good experience.

There's this one waiter though, (I cannot remember his name, but it was Middle Eastern) that was probably the best waiter at WDW.

We ate there last year during Free Dining - we had a great table right next to the Lady & the Tramp sculpture. It was really good food, and DH has requested we go again - so we are eating there before the P & P party on August 11th.

I'm also happy that all of you liked your meal at Tony's because
we are eating there on our upcoming trip,
because my DS loves Lady and the
Tramp and I was so worried it would be really bad
because of all of the bad reviews that I've read.
I glad that there are some good review out there.
Now, I'm excited!!

We've got an ADR at Tony's in December, so I'm glad to read good reviews! I'm looking forward to the atmosphere.:goodvibes
