Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (September 4-7)

if im interested for bib pickup friday do i need to do the vq or can just go in?

That's why MW is the best ;)
Yeah except it's darn near impossible to get to run it anymore. I tried to sign up for a RunDisney membership this year and they were sold out before they were even released to the public. Only one that was left was the basic which gave you no perks.
And second year in a row it literally gets to my turn to sign up for the Marathon Weekend and it closes.

That would be ridiculously cool, and it's early enough in the race that we'd have plenty of time.
Plus they decided to push the opening back a hour for each park on Sunday

Yeah, its hard to get gold or platinum CRD your first year out. However, if you have an extra $300 lying around for silver this year then next year youll get access to renew earlier and will possibly be able to upgrade to gold or platinum. I think most people on the CRD thread that tried to upgrade from silver to gold this year were able. At least the people posting 🤣

I still want them to let us on Tron. 😭
That would be an interesting experience to be sure. Getting into the ride vehicle mid race and getting out of it would be an adventure. I'm a tall guy and it usually takes a bit of extra finagling to fit myself into the lightcycles. That ride might also seriously disorient me during a race. I felt like my pacing was way off after riding Everest in 2023, but when I reviewed my splits post race, everything was normal so it just felt off compared to actually being off..

Weren’t there basic maps for the start area? I can’t seem to find them now. Anyone else? Or can you point me to the right place?

Are there multiple ways to enter the pre-race area? I seem to remember seeing from the first DL event that there was?? But I don’t know if that continued…

This is the map from 2024 DL Half. There's nothing in the 2025 Halloween Half guide about this. So I'll presume this should be close.

The 5k starts inside of Disneyland Park on Main Street, so just walk there like normal, only in the dark.

This is for the 10k and half.

This is the parking lot east of Del Sol Inn and Grand Legacy at The Park. The south entry is on Disney Way, just past The Anaheim Hotel. Getting past security there will put you right in the corral area. The entrance to the northwest is accessible by going between Camelot Inn and Tropicana Inn. That will put you in the parking lot north of this, and then there will be a path from that lot into the race lot.

Thank you. I feel like this should be in the event guide!
I’ll probably just follow the crowd and hope they don’t lead me the wrong direction! 😁
