We are considering a trip to HHI and then up to Myrtle Beach (hubby a golfer! ha! ha! ). Could anyone tell me how long it would take to drive between the two?
Thanks!

It should probably take about 3 hours, but that's coming back inland to I-95, then over to Myrtle, probably by I-20 via Florence. It would take longer staying coastal, because you'd have to go through Charleston (not a bad thing!), Georgetown, etc. Lots of great golfing all over the coast. Consider Wild Dunes, too!

I live in Mount Pleasant between the two. It takes me slightly over 2 hours to go south to Hilton Head and about 1.5 hours north to Myrtle Beach.

It could take quite a bit longer then 3 and 1/2 hours (actual driving time) if you follow my plan and stop along the way to take pictures, eat, shop, sightsee in Charlestown, read every historical marker, eat shop, haggle for sweetgrass baskets, eat, shop......

Enjoy your visit and take the coastal route through Charleston....much more fun then boring interstate!

yeah i thought about the same thing when we went to hhi in august.sad to say m.b. was approx 4hrs and that was one way. too far for me. there is alot of golfing locally( when i think of hhi , i first think of golf) . we did go to savanah for a day (about 1 hr) and had a great time. you might want to look into golf down there if hhi isn't for you.
