All this talk about how nice VGF is makes me really want to stay there before December 2014! I have a 2 night wait list for a standard studio in April. If I add a second wait list for a lake view studio, if one comes through is the other one automatically cancelled? It would be bad luck to have both come through when I only want 1 room, and I give permission to borrow.

Actually, I had a situation with a wait list where they borrowed points and logically, if you looked at the reservations, I did not have to borrow. (oh and they cancelled the wrong reservation for the wait list) I called immediately and they changed everything to what it should have been and also put my points back into the correct use year. Unfortunately, that is one of the many mysteries of Disney…. the wait list:scratchin

When one of them comes through, the other should be cancelled by MS. That's how it's worked in the past.

My advice is to cancel it yourself (if necessary) as soon as you notice one has come through. IIRC, when you set up the waitlist, you can specify that it replace another reservation and you can specify that same reservation when you set up the second one.

Good luck! (I had to give up on my 2 night waitlist for early December and am hoping for better luck in the future. The resort looks so beautiful).

Thanks...I will keep my 1 wait list. I will be traveling a fair amount in the next few months, and do not think I can keep checking my reservations.

I am glad they fixed the points for you.:thumbsup2

Thank you CarolMN for replying as well. It's my travel plans, some cruising, that will keep me off the Internet.

I had a waitlist for AKV Kidani and another one for Jambo. I also had a confirmed SSR reservation that I said I wanted cancelled if the waitlist came through. Kidani came through, they automatically cancelled the Jambo waitlist as well as SSR.

Good that it worked. I will call MS today and set it up verbally. There seems to be a glitch that is not allowing me to book a reservation beginning September 30, 2014, so I do need to talk to someone.
