hi, when we have been on previous trips we have always used our qsdp credits on the day we travel home. i have just read that the credits are per night not per day so how have we been able to use them?

You get a number of credits based on the number of nights in your stay, but they do not expire until the end of the last day that you are there.

As the PP said, the credits do not expire until 11:59 pm (midnight essentially) on the day you check out. The number of credits you get are based on the number of nights of your stay; this is how it has been for a while, so you can still use your remaining credits on the last day of your trip.
