How does someone get into serving at Disney?

I would really like to be a server at Disney, land or World. I love Disney but I love serving even more, and I'm great with kids so I thought, of course… I need to work in or near the parks!

So what I'm wondering is how does one make that happen? I know there's Casting at WDW but what about Disneyland? And has anyone ever come in as a customer and been hired talking to the person in charge or hiring?

What about if you have a good amount of serving experience? Like say if I plan on moving there in a few years, so I will have had 4-5 years serving, would they still have you start out hosting or food running?

I've been a server for a few years now, and I've worked in the food industry for ten years.

I've often wondered about that als. Not serving but as a wedding photographer. I've always said my dream job would be to take pictures at Disney. Photopass would be cool but to actually family sessions and weddings would be amazing! I would have to move to Orlando first though. Which I would happily do if I could!

I'm going to the Disney Annual Shareholder Meeting in a few weeks, would it be so crazy to ask Bob Iger for a job in the parks?

Haha

Okay, I'm only half kidding.
