WIll be going in when I get my insurance back... Thanks to those of you who gave advice, not judgment.

You really need to see either a podiatrist or orthopedist for this. If this is something that has happened over a number of years, I can't imagine that you, alone, could fix the problem in 2 weeks.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help:flower3: .

Absolutely. Something like this that has evolved over the course of years cannot be corrected in two weeks.

I assume by "growing inward" you mean that they are leaning towards your other toes. The "bandaid" correction to this is a molded piece of plastic (available in, for example, the Dr Scholl's line of products) which you place between your toes, forcing them straight.

However, you need to see a podiatrist or an orthopedist to find out why your toes have decided to head off in a new direction.

Yep, my two big toes took the "scenic route". Couldn't really tell it by looking at them, but they sure were painful!! Bunions and one with a hammertoe. Grandmother had them, thanks g-ma:crazy2: !!!! Surgery by a podiatrist corrected them and haven't had a single painful day since then. That was about 16 years ago.

I agree with the other replies but another for a temporary fix might be to wrap your little toes with a band aid when you have to wear shoes. At least it help keep them contained and from rubbing on your shoes.

. I need to be able to wear shoes in two weeks. .

You live in Wisconsin-do you not wear shoes daily?:confused3
A big flap of skin growing where your toe should be? This sounds like something thta has been going on for a looonnngg time?

I would bite the bullet and go see the dr. I have a family of weird toes. My 4yo was born with 11 and had one removed when she was 1. My nephew just had 2 removed.

My 3yo didnt get the extras but on his one foot the pinky and one next to it are turned sideways and than curl in:confused3

Perhaps if you posted pictures of your ailment, the DisMD's could better diagnose your condition and prescribe a cure. :thumbsup2

No. No, no, no. No one need to see that! :crazy2: The Dis docs can not diagnose this. Go to a doctor - you shouldn't be getting big flaps of skin where your toes go. If your toes are wandering around then the skin should be going with them. I don't think migratory toes can be fixed in 2 weeks anyway, but if there's a fix for it then I am sure a podiatrist can tell you what it is.

I vote for see a doctor, too. I don't even understand just how it is you can't put your shoes on.

I have to wonder, from the way you phrased it, if you're able to go weeks without wearing shoes. Do you need to be able to wear a specific shoe in two weeks? I mean, how is it that you don't need shoes for two weeks?

Tis a puzzlement.

That was my thought. I can't even imagine how you would be growing skin separately from the pinky toe itself?...or at least that's how I read it. Very strange.

Its wisconsin, Ive been wearing my huge snow boots. There only two sizes to big. It is a problem that has grown over time but it was never this bad till about the last month (right about the time I started wearing boots).
I think I solved the toe thing. I pulled the toe back over where it belongs, stuffed cotton between it and the next toe to hold it in its correct place, and then taped it off. Seems to be working. the skin that was sticking out pulled taunt (sort of).
Anyone got a better idea for stuffing beween toes?

Toes are not meant to be held in place with cotton and tape. Go to the doctor!

It sounds you made a temporary fix but need a permanent solution. That will take a trip to the doctor's office. Good luck.
