do you leave cash is it added to your room?
do they have a set amount, or do you get to tip on how the service was?
Thanks Rae

DDE guests (Disney Dining Experience) are charged an auto gratuity of 18%, regardless of party size.

Parties of 6 or more, regardless of how they are paying, are charged an auto gratuity of 18%.

Parties of 5 or less (not using the DDE Discount card) may tip at their discretion. Your receipt will show you suggested tips of 18% and 20%, ultimately it's up to you how to tip.

You can pay cash, use a gift card, charge it to your room, or use a credit card.

It's so nice of them to make sure you know how much to tip them, I mean give you suggestions on tipping.

Disney should just charge 18% more for all of the TS menu items, and say that tips are included. That way everybody knows what they're paying for, and the servers get what they expect.
Gratuity's are no longer related to quality of service. At least the expectations aren't.

I usually leave cash. If you don't want to leave cash, it can be added to your room/credit card. They have pre-figured amounts already listed, 18 & 20% I think, or your can modify it.

Note about cash, which I forgot in my original post. If tipping cash, write cash on the tip line before giving the server your card to swipe. If charging to your room or a credit card, write the amount you'd like to tip on the tip line and give them the appropriate cards to swipe for the transaction.
