{shrug} I don't recall being ever splashed in the face with toilet water when I flush. I stand sideways, use my hand closest to the handle, flush and turn away at the same time. I certainly don't lean over and gape with my mouth open watching the results!
Just a question for the foot flushers ... if you use your food to avoid getting a mouthful and the spray is really that bad doesn't it get all over your leg?
I don't bring food into the bathroom with me.
) I am gonna let you know I have been a nurse for 25 years. I have always worked around THE most infected patients. And I can tell you I have gotten infected poop (etc) on my hands more than my fair share. I have never gotten infected ever. Every ID RN worth her weght will tell you that it s the friction of washing not the heat of the water that will kill the germs. My guess is that the water would have to be near boiling to kill them off.
training.....
I am just trying to visualize this.
