How Do You Check The History....

Of someone that has used your computer? DD had some friends over tonight that used our computer and I am a little anxious at what went on???? I don't even know if that cand be done?

Any help appreciated!

You can see where they went on the browser by clicking the "History" button - looks like a sun dial sort of kinda.

Just run your mouse over the icons on the top bar of your screen, you will probably find one that is called history.

In AOL 9.0 click the down arrow next to "go" on the browser line where you type web addresses.

Unless the kids were smart and delete history before they got off the computer.

You can also go to the tool bar on the side of your computer...if you have a magnifying glass, click on it and you can perform searches. For example, you can enter a word or words you suspect and you may get a list of the day and times they were accessed. It can also search disc C and get to cookies or temporary internet files. GOOD LUCK.

If you've never done this before, practice now...it took me some time.
