How do I love thee....let me count the days!! It's done.......

:thumbsup2 All caught up here! :thumbsup2

You won tickets and a free night too! :cool1: I knew I had missed something when you posted about your disney mail being free on FB... now I know! Yay!

Tom is the same way as Scotty is when it comes to dining. He really doesn't offer up much of an opinion... just tells me to pick. :sad2:

Hopefully your DL buddies can help you with your choices.

Hi there Love!!

Yes I did and I was thrilled!! It made for an extra night with no extra money. So with the two nights I got before we are not paying for the hotel at all. The tickets are that much cheaper because we can upgrade to 3 day park-hoppers.

Oh yeah Scotty is a picky devil but won't give me any input. I hope so too.:rotfl:

ESPN Zone has your typical bar foods. Nachos, Burgers, etc. Does he like that kind of thing?

Well, if they are showing bicycling he'd love it. It wasn't that great last time we were there though.

Maybe check Allears.net for all the menus to see if you can find places with menus that he would like. That's what I did when planning where to go.

I'm still here. I'll be back to catch up tomorrow evening. :goodvibes

Hi Carla!!

Maybe check Allears.net for all the menus to see if you can find places with menus that he would like. That's what I did when planning where to go.

Thank you Andrea!! I finally pinned WBG down to a few choices on the ride home. I went with desserts!:thumbsup2 He has a massive sweet tooth.

I finally tied down WBG to some food choices!! Be shocked!! So we are going to eat at Cafe Orleans one day and at the BTBbq one day. I am not sure whether Cafe Orleans will be lunch or dinner but I do know I want to do the bbq for dinner probably on the 15th. From what I am gathering from the menus they have sausage with the dinner and I would prefer the sausage to the ribs for sure.

I also think that we will have the Plaza Inn for dinner on Thursday night. We ate there on our original honeymoon all those years ago. Yes, I am a sentimental fool. It's nice to have these decisions made. So tomorrow I call Disney Dining to make my seating arrangements.

Oh thank you Kaitlin! Andrea made it for me!! I think she is talented. I noticed you made a few changes to yours.

Thanks Michele! They are easy to make and I enjoy doing them, so anytime anyone wants one, or you want another, let me know. :goodvibes

Yay on your choices! The BBQ was really good! We went there for the dinner as well. I wasn't a fan of the pomme frites at Cafe Orleans, but that's just me. I loved their beignets though! So good.

Hmm anytime you want to make me them you can.:flower3:

Thank you. WBG probably won't like the pomme frites either. It was the Monte Cristo sandwich and the Micky beignets. He told me whatever you want again and I went at him with menus when he was hungry. Not quite fair but hey it worked.:rotfl:

We are going to leave on the 13th to drive down. We discussed that we would drive down as far as we could before we were ready to rest and then drive the rest of the way down on the 14th. Who knows maybe we will just drive straight through and find a place to stay down there on the 13th. We shall see.

Michele,
I was going to suggest Taste Pilot's in DCA. My DH and DS15 love the ribs - I think they're pretty good - and I really like the full throttle fries. DS never eats his coleslaw, so I eat it for him along with the fries covered in stuff. Yum! It works for us.

How long does it take to drive from Fairfield?

Today I am making reservations for our hotel. We are definitely staying at the beautiful Ayres Hotel. I am really excited to stay here. From everything I know this is a wonderful hotel. They have a thing where you can have wine waiting in the room. Because it is for Valentines Day I am considering it. We shall see.
That looks AWESOME girl! Score!!
Upon further investigation I was able to find on the hotels page of the website a least of restaurants in the area. I found one I think that WBG and I can both agree on. JT Schmid's Restaurant and Brewery. It's not too fancy and honestly that is more my style. Best of all it is right across the street from the Ayres and we don't have to drive to it. Win-win!!
Nice!
I have been looking at all of the places to eat. So many of them have new menus that I haven't tried. I really want to go to the Village Haus. Their flat bread pizza sounds good to me. I am going to try and link all of these things for my friends that have never been to Disneyland in case anyone is interested.

One of my favorite places to eat because of its location on the Rivers of America has also changed its menu. The Hungry Bear it is a fun place to to sit and watch all of the action on the water and on a hot day enjoy the shade. I so want to try the fried green tomato sandwich with the sweet potato fries.

Now I have made myself hungry and I am going to go make lunch. I will add more later.
You'll have to take pictures, as I have no idea what DL has to offer. I'll need them for future reference!
I think I want to add another night. I know I have been to Disneyland a bunch of times but I feel like I need more than two and a half days.

Yes, you DO want to add another night! The offspring will be just fine!
We are renting a car and it is cheaper to rent it for a week than for 3 or 4 days. Go figure.:confused3 I just can't decide which company to go with. Input would be helpful. I have no preference so HELP!!:rotfl:
Did you try Priceline? You might be able to get a cheaper price that way. As far as which rental company is best, I am of no help. I usually use whatever my car insurance pays for when somebody crashes into me. :rotfl:
Kacy's driving is progressing nicely. I have no doubts that everyone will be fine while we are gone. So that is a great weight lifted from my shoulders.

Awesome! Did I tell you Tyler passed the test for his commercial driver's license?! I'm so excited for him!

News? Do I have news?

Yes, yes, I do. Today has turned into a good day!! I won another free night at the wonderfully Ayres Hotel!! And two 2 day parkhoppers!! So this changes up the whole thing. We will definitely have 3 nights and at least 2 days at Disneyland. I am thinking that I may still get one day tickets for WBG and I but right now the first day is just going to be loose. We can leave at a normal hour and not in the middle of the night and relax on the way down.
How did you do that??? That is friggin' AWESOME!!
In two days it is time to make and ADR's that we may want. I have no real clue what I want to do.

I know that WBG wants to eat at Goofy's Kitchen, that is one of his favorite places to eat. It is either the character interaction or his love of the peanut butter and jelly pizza.:rotfl:

I would like to eat at either Big Thunder Round Up Bbq or Cafe Orleans. Because we are not going to be in the park that many days the choices have got to be what we really, really want.
Peanut butter and jelly pizza does not even sound good! Your husband really IS weird! :lmao:
Exciting delivery today!!

I got my tickets and my hotel vouchers today!! So excited and it makes our trip so much more real!!
LOVE it when they come! It makes it all seem so real! :goodvibes

I see you scored a rental car! See, you didn't need my advice after all. :lmao::lmao:

I'm officially all caught up! Hopefully I can find time to stick around and continue reading!:goodvibes

I was thinking about that Shannon. I have heard that they are good. I think I will eat the fries and Scotty's coleslaw he never eats his either.

Bookmarking the lazy way until I can catch up! :thumbsup2

Hi Nikki!! Nice to see you!!:rotfl:

That looks AWESOME girl! Score!!

Nice!

I am thrilled!

You'll have to take pictures, as I have no idea what DL has to offer. I'll need them for future reference!

Oh I will!!

Yes they will!

I have never tried Priceline. I am always afraid I will end up with a less than stellar price ans it will be too late to find it otherwise.

Awesome! Did I tell you Tyler passed the test for his commercial driver's license?! I'm so excited for him!

That is fantastic!!

How did you do that??? That is friggin' AWESOME!!

They had a contest about your favorite Christmas tradition. I was so thrilled!! There was my third night!! Which has snowballed into a fourth night!!

Peanut butter and jelly pizza does not even sound good! Your husband really IS weird! :lmao:

Well duh!! Weird Bike Guy? :lmao:

LOVE it when they come! It makes it all seem so real! :goodvibes

I know!! I love looking at them!!
