How do I link nonexpiring tickets from 2005 to MDE?

I have four tickets from 2005 that have one day left on them. These tickets are non expiring tickets. I tried to link them to MDE but they said there was an error. When I went to the old ticket screen it didn't have the ticket I have shown. Do I just take these tickets with us and have them linked to our MB when we get there? My son had a child ticket but now he is considered an adult ticket, do I have to pay the difference for his ticket? Thanks for any advice on how to do this!

2. My son had a child ticket but now he is considered an adult ticket, do I have to pay the difference for his ticket?

1. You CAN do that. OR...You can call WDW IT
at (407) 939-3471 or (407) 939-7849
and ask them for assistance now.

2. No. Just take the ticket (and the former "child") to any ticket booth or Guest Relations for a free upgrade to an adult ticket with the same remaining assets as the current child ticket.

Thank you so much! I will be calling as soon as I finish typing this. LOL I love that you can find all the answers you need on the Disboards.

I had one little problem last march when I linked an old ticket. I had gone to Epcot one morning and when we returned that afternoon, it used the additional day from the old ticket, unbeknownst to me. On my last day I couldn't enter Epcot and went to guest services. They were able to pull up everything and see that's what happened. Everything was resolved quickly without any problem.
