How did you meet your DH?

I met my first husband at a bar. That right there should have been a clue. What can I say I was 20 and he was 28 and I made stupid mistake. But if I didnt I would not have my terrific kids.
I finally met the right guy,my DH six years ago on Match.com
We talked online a bit and but he started dating someone else and so did I. When it didnt work out I emailed him again just to say hello. We had not even exchanged photos yet when I knew he was the One! We IM'd and talked on the phone and emailed love letters. I saved some. We finally met at a local Mexican place then went to a bookstore for coffee and talked for about 2 hours. We dated for a couple years which was not easy since he lived >100 miles away. He asked me to marry him on my birthday. It was pretty funny because it was really , really cold and I could not imagine why he was pushing me to go take a walk down by the beach in December. We got married and our 3rd Anniversary will be in August. I know a lot of people look down on online dating but it was really the only way we would have found each other. I will admit though that there are some nutty people online including some married guys. For the most part I had some interesting dates with nice guys but they just werent the right guy. As my nana always said, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince! :love2:

I met my husband at a theater we both worked at. He called to ask me for a date while he was away on a tour, I said ok. The plan was that he was getting back into town on whatever day (can't remember) and I was to give him a call at the theater. I called and was told he wasn't there. I figured he was standing me up. I didn't wait around for his call, but he tracked me down and we decided to go out on July 2.

We went out a few more times, then he went back out on another tour for 6 weeks. We spoke on the phone a lot though. I flew down to see him for the last show of the tour and spend a few days together. That was the weekend he asked me to marry him.

My DH actually worked for my father. I had seen him twice and said hello but he would turn beet red and mumble hello and keep walking and I wondered what was his problem? Well turns out from one of the other office girl's I worked with that he wanted to ask me to dinner and didnt know how! He was also nervous because he didnt want co-wokers to think that he just wanted to ask me out because I was the bosses daughter! We have been married since 94 and have two great son's and a baby on the way!! :goodvibes And we couldnt imagine our lives with out each other!!

We met at a Tn Walking Horseshow and were HS sweethearts.

When DW and I first met, I had her screaming in my ears all night long.

'Course, we WERE at a rock concert, so that might have had something to do with it. (Just what did you THINK I meant ?!? ;) )

I met my DH in Chad, Africa. I was in the Peace Corps and he came to our village to buy water for his workers. My post mate and I recognized the American-type vehicle and chased it down the road. We hadn't spoken English to another soul for months.

DH and I met at the mall. We both worked there, and I was having lunch in the food court with a friend from college one day. He walked by, and it turned out, he went to high school with her! He hadn't seen her in about 6 years and stopped to talk. My friend introduced us, and we waved and said Hi for about 6 months before we started dating. We were engaged 9 months later.
