How can I get front row seats to Beauty and Beast show at DHS?

DD is obsessed with Beauty and the Beast and would just love this show...I was wondering the best way to get front row or first few rows to the show? Is it by getting a fastpass? Showing up early? What are our best chances? Does the fastpass have certain seats?

I'm not sure, but my experience with MOST shows in MOST parks I've been too is that the front row is not usually as grand as it seems. Often times you miss out on seeing their feet and you are so focused on what's right in front of you that you may miss out on things in other locations on stage...sometimes the best things can be the things in the background.

Have a great trip!

Not sure, but in most cases the front rows are reserved for handicapped visitors. The seats around them are reserved for their guests. If you can get a seat behind the handicapped seats, I think the view is grest, especially since it is probably a broken row, where the bench seat does not go all the way across, in order to accommodate the wheelchairs, etc. Often, there is no one in front of the gap, so it's as good as front row. Plus, get there early.

Fastpass are let in first, so if you get a fastpass AND get there early (which granted you don't normally have to do with a FP, but if you want first choice of seats....)

Also, if she's willing, have her dress up in something very Belle-like (or Beast!).....the CM picks one child each show for something special (don't want to spoil the surprise). There is NO guarantee that your daughter will be picked, but usually being extra cute helps. I have twins and one is (still) obsessed with B&B and they dressed up and were both chosen when they were about 8 or 9. I'll never be sure if it was their cuteness or the excited bouncing up and down they did waiting in line and chattering about the movie to the CM. Try both, lol.

Someone else will have to chime in for sure, but I think a lot of the front row seating is reserved in advance for disabled and VIP guests.

And just as an FYI, don't tell your daughter about the special "princess of the day" described by the PP. You can try, but don't tell her, and don't get your hopes up. Lots of times that is arranged in advance and you have no way of knowing.

You will be happy with something even a few rows back though. The show is beautiful.

These are all great tips!! Thank you so much! I cant believe we have been to Disney so many times and never done the show! I guess up until now it just never interested us! Thanks everyone! I will be sure to make this our FP for the day to at least get in first to have access to the best seats...does anyone have a pic of the theater? Are there seats or is it a bench? Will they have everyone move down to the end as you walk in (like they do for a bugs life in AK)? I am now so excited to go!! Thank you all!

There are backs on the bench seats.
Center rows are entered from either side.
Guests are told to "slide towards the MIDDLE of your row" as more guests arrive.

My suggestions:
1) Have her dressed up so she stands out!
2) Get FP+ and be there early to be one of first let in. Find best seats and where she will be visible to the CMs.
3) They ask everyone to slide towards the middle which means if you are in middle section they want you to move deeper in. If you are on side section, inside aisle, it means staying on the aisle because they slide in from the outside aisle.
4) The forward middle fills fast so you can let folks past you if you want to keep her close to aisle. Side seats you can put her on aisle and won't have to move. These seats would be less obstructed view due to angle.
5) For sides, plus to her there on aisle aside from chance at being picked she will have unobstructed view of stage because no one really in front of her due to angle.
6) Front few rows are for Handicapped and VIP but you will be able to get to about row 3 or 4.
7) Bench seating with backs.
8) NO guarantee but it seems like almost every time the child picked is sitting (facing the stage) on the right side. Because the handicapped and VIP seats load from that side the CMs seem to linger over there.

View of theater from right side far away from inside aisle, about halfway in.

Front row and a few behind that will be reserved so you can go sit the next open row behind them.

Side section aisle seats have no obstruction since you watch from slight angle.

Center section fills first and fast but you have lots of heads in front of you. This time we arrived fairly early and family with us wanted to sit center. If you choose go in front of the technical guys box.

My DS uses a wheelchair and loves this show as well. No you cannot see that well from the first row seats but I agree with the previous poster they usually choose someone from that right side isle where the wheelchairs enter.

Thank you EVERYONE especially hopperfan for those incredible tips and photos!! Excellent and much appreciated!!! Now to figure out how to enter on that right side....

If you are extra lucky, you'll be approached while going to enter the show and get asked if your daughter wanted to be a princess for the show, like mine did!! Luck of the draw, but we got to sit almost front row, and she got the rose at the end of the performance. It was the highlight of her trip. :)

You can sit on either side. When they let you in, any side or seat is yours except the reserved few front rows.
