I'm not sure if any of you will remember me mentioning this a month or so back but I'll tell it again!
Last year I found out a great friend of mine landed the lead male dancer/dance captain role in the Broadway show Movin Out!!( We both used to live/work in Maine in the summer although he would move back to New Orleans-where he was from- after the season ended.)His name is Ian Carney.
Well even before I was friends with Ian, I was friends with a girl named Nancy Lemeneger. We danced in a local dance company together for years. We have since lost touch but she has been in MANY broadway shows over the years. She was the lead in a show that just closed unfortunately but get this.....
The girl that was playing the female lead in Movin Out is pregnant so Nancy auditioned and landed the female role!!!
SOOOO Ian (my friend from New Orleans) and Nancy (my friend for Worcester) are now dancing together in the LEADS of Movin Out!!!
