How about pictures of alcoholic drinks?

Well, I didn't get the jalapeno flight -- maybe next time. I did get a few shots of beverages I consumed but mostly along with the food!

Safari Amber beer (at top of the food -- yes, I'd had some of it! :) ) Food was great too!

Chardonay from LeChefs (house version, but very good!) Lunch was wonderful too.

Finally -- one that doesn't also have food:

"Lost on Safari" from the Dawa Bar

I thought I had more, so if I find them, I'll post them.

Will you share the recipe? Do you have a picture?

No pic...

1/2 to 1 sliced & seeded Jalapeno (make sure you seed it!)
1 1/4 cup tequila
Mix & let set for 1 hour.

Use lime to coat rim of glass then dunk in a mixture of 1/2 tablespoon sugar & 1/2 tablespoon salt.
Fill glass 3/4 way full with ice.
In a shaker mix:
Jalapeno tequila
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons orange liquor
2 teaspoons super fine sugar
Shake & fill glasses.

It was very strong in tequila.. and my jalapeno wasn't very strong... so mine coulda used more.

Ok, guys - question for you and please don't laugh. This pic came from the Beach Club conceirge/club level service. Now, we are not big drinkers but based on this pic how are you supposed to drink these? Mixed with something? Straight for sipping? :confused3

I'm hoping you can mix them with something because I don't think I would like them plain - and I'm not a coffee drinker. Any ideas?

Margarita Flight at La Cava del Tequila, aka "The Ditch":

WDWFeb2010013-1.jpg

I just began to feel a little tingly inside. OMG, that looks AMAZING!!! I have to ask, because I haven't been to WDW before, where is this place at? Is this in Mexico at Epcot? I MUST have this margarita flight, my trip will not be complete without it.

Yes, it's inside of the Mexico pavillion!

:lmao:

I'm looking forward to the brown ale the most! Then again, I'm in the "Husbands That Drink Anything Club".

I am a WIFE not a Husband and I love the dark stouts, one to try is a Murphy's Irish Stout they sold it last year at the American Pavilion during F&W!:woohoo::cool1:

All I have to offer is the Fiesta Margarita:

The flavors are mango, strawberry and lime. It gave me some big brain freeze

Sorry if this has already been featured!

Frozen Alcoholic Drinks in France
DSCN1129.jpg

I'm stealing this photo from someone else's post... because I didn't get a clear pic of it. However, the lemonade with grey goose, is the best drink I have had at WDW. It comes in a martini glass so it isn't huge... but the taste was lovely. :cool1:

I got the lemon one in 08--had to drink it super fast because Mr. FFerret was ready to leave Epcot. RIGHT NOW. Ugh :) Talk about brain freeze!

I'm still reading this thread through, and I'm on page 19, but wanted to ask - for my hens party, we're planning on doing a cocktail and dessert crawl, mainly around DTD and the Boardwalk. Are these good areas to focus on, or should I make sure everyone's got park tickets and go into Epcot?

Also, what time do places that we'd be getting drinks and desserts from usually shut?

TIA

If you love margaritas I have an amazing recipe to share.

Mexican Beer Margaritas.

1 can limeade concentrate (just the concentrate. Don't add water)
1 1/2 cups gold tequila
3 cans or bottles of Mexican beer (Corona or Sol)

Pour the limeade, tequila, and beer into a pitcher, stir. Fill tall glasses with ice and pour Margaritas into glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

Delish! Had these with the girls last night and they were a big hit.:thumbsup2
