How about pictures of alcoholic drinks?

All I have to offer is the Fiesta Margarita:

The flavors are mango, strawberry and lime. It gave me some big brain freeze

Sorry if this has already been featured!

I showed this to my roommate one day (She's having her first ever WDW vaca in November) and to have this is on her "To Do" list!

I love the yummy drinks when I go on vacation!! I can't believe how many times I've been to Disney and have NOT tried the slushies...but I remedied that on my last trip in March. I double fisted and got both the Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Slushie. While both are great, I did prefer the Grey Goose :)

And at Le Cellier, my waiter said they had a unique martini called an 'ice martini'. It was made with white wine and vodka and an olive. I'm not a big white wine drinker but this drink was very unique and yummy. So I asked for my second one :lmao: to be extra dirty with extra olives. The brine added the right amount of 'salty' to cancel out too much of the 'sweet' of the wine. Yum...

I am making a list of drinks to try while there...I go EVERY year and NEVER get anything to drink!!! Well, one year I got the margarita in Mexico (1st margarita ever) only to discover i do not like them. I am not a big drinker, but these look good so far

Fusion Lemonade
Magical Star Cocktail
Rose Regale
Lost on Safari
and the Pina Colava

anything else I am forgetting?

ALCOHOL FROM FRANCE

Is that $15 dollars a shot or is it a mixed drink or served in a wine glass or is that a mini bottle???? I'm so intrigued.:hyper:[/QUOTE]

....if i didn't read the print I would have thought it was perfume lol. @ $15 a spritz hahahaha

When I saw your picture, I thought it was perfume also, then I read it. That's a lot of money for 1 shot, it better be worth it LOL! ;)

I have never had the Nuvo in France but believe it is served in a champagne glass....more than a shot but still $$$ for a glass. It is good though!

If you love margaritas I have an amazing recipe to share.

Mexican Beer Margaritas.

1 can limeade concentrate (just the concentrate. Don't add water)
1 1/2 cups gold tequila
3 cans or bottles of Mexican beer (Corona or Sol)

Pour the limeade, tequila, and beer into a pitcher, stir. Fill tall glasses with ice and pour Margaritas into glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

Delish! Had these with the girls last night and they were a big hit.:thumbsup2

OMG that sounds delish!! Will have to try that at our next barbecue. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I make these at home! Its the "house special" basically a shaken Kamikaze served chilled up. In fact I'm going to go and make one right now!!!

Vodka
Lime Juice (just a splash)
Triple Sec (just a splash)

Shake, Shake, Shake!!!

Pour, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Ok, guys - question for you and please don't laugh. This pic came from the Beach Club conceirge/club level service. Now, we are not big drinkers but based on this pic how are you supposed to drink these? Mixed with something? Straight for sipping? :confused3

I'm hoping you can mix them with something because I don't think I would like them plain - and I'm not a coffee drinker. Any ideas?

It's been many years since I have drank, have been pregnant or BFing for the last 4 years, but I can try and help you out. with some more ideas. I do not like to drink liquor straight or on ice, I need something else with it.

The Amarula is best with milk and ice. Very yummy. It tastes like berries and cream.

The Amaretto is nice with Coke. It makes it taste like a Cherry Coke.

I do not like Kahlua or Grand Marnier but if you add some Baileys, you have a super yummy shooter. That is all 3 mixed together.

Enjoy!

Just wanted to resurrect this thread so it doesn't get lost in oblivion. Maybe it can be made into a sticky? Any mods out there?;)

My son will be 21 by the time we go back to WDW next summer and I'd like to take him to Epcot to try some of the drinks.:drinking1

Glad this thread got ressurected! This is what I want to see!! I don't have children, so when me and the husband go to disney this year, we will definately be visiting the bars. Which ones are the best??

I haven't been to many bars at WDW due to the age of my kids, although now they're old enough so that I can get in a little more adult time - they're 16, 18 and soon to be 21.

Anyway, last trip I had a delicious tropical drink at Tambu Lounge when we stayed at the Poly. I don't know the name of what I had but I remember it being delicious. Tambu Lounge was packed every night during our stay so it seems to be very popular.

La Cava del Tequila is a tequila bar in Epcot that opened last year. I haven't been there yet but here's a link to their site:

Raglan Road has great drinks as well. Had a car bomb there for the first time and it was good, although I'm not as talented as some at getting it down before it fizzes all over the place.:scared1:

I love this thread, we will be down for Food and Wine Fest so Hopefully I can come back with some great pictures!

:goodvibes

I check in on this thread periodically and saw the sticky request. Checking the Links Sticky at the top of the forum I noticed that this wasn't listed as an important link! I fixed it, so while this isn't a sticky, the link to the thread is in a sticky.
