Thats so you can't walk up there and buy as many drinks as you want and bring them back to underage drinkers nearby... they take your ID and check it... It makes sense unless you are buying for a table of 3...

Well, there is a lot of question whether or not one person can get 1 drink or 2. Many places let you get two but many only allow you to get one. For example, when at Pop Century in 2006, they only allowed my boyfriend to get 1 drink. They said if he wanted two (he was buying bottles of Corona, he wanted one to keep in the room for later), I would have to purchase the other. Except I was going to purchase a drink myself.

I think the rule goes along with making sure people are not buy drinks for other people and to make sure people are not drinking too much.

I remember in some spots in Epcot - if you were buying two drinks, you had to point out the other person you were buying for. If you didn't have another adult waving at the CM, they wouldn't give you two drinks.

(so if you see someone who you think is waving at you - think again - they're just trying to get an alcoholic beverage! )

I don't mean to be a witch, but I think that is stupid. I'd rather see just selling 1 drink per person than someone not being IDed.

I personally don't think anything is wrong with a person getting two drinks... especially if it something like bottled beer.. because I'm lazy and would hate to walk back from my room at the 90's all the way back to Petal's bar to get another beer in 15 minutes. (Of course this can be solved, I think, because my boyfriend bought a bunch of Buds at Everything Pop and kept them in the fridge.)

all the frozen drinks I posted photos of yesterday were bought 2 at a time. Usually one for me, and one for my friend. the ones from epcot I had NO questions on when I bought 2, as the ones from the pool bar at CSR.
maybe I just looked like I needed a double?

The key ingredient is 151. yeah. 151. Then there's a whole bunch of sweet fruit juice (pineapple - ish) added. And love. Lapu love. Haha!

I believe it was $12 or $12.50 @ Kona, assume it's the same across the board. It was YUMMY.

Yes!!! It's called the Pineapple Dream. They have it at the pool @ the Poly. It's Dole Whip + Souther Comfort + Butterscotch Schnapps + Captain Morgan. Yum!
