House of Blues deal

Also, we tried Fire and Ice Grill in Gardenwalk. Again ... very cool concept! Kind of like a Mongolian Grill, but with a different feel to it. Lunch was 9.95 adults/6.95 kids for all you can "grill". Kids were fascinated, and everything we created was delicious! Dd's favorite was swordfish grilled with a butter lemon garlic sauce , broccoli and rice. I made fajitas, we also made a small portion of chicken fettucini alfredo, and hamburgers. Tasty.

Tell me more about Fire + Ice. This looks like a great idea. I noticed on their menu they have steak, chicken, seafood, etc and you can make any "cuisine" you want. Is it all you can eat? It will be just DH and I and he can pack away some food! Was there a minimum on their restaurant.com certificate ($35)? I was thinking about going for a late lunch but the 2 of us wouldn't hit the minimum if we did. Thanks!!!

Thanks for the quick reply 4bugzinarug! I am sure we will enjoy our meal there. And the tip about sharing is a good one. We often share so we can get dessert or a snack later. :laughing:

Willow1213, DD ate at Fire + Ice last month for lunch. She said it was really good and at $9.95 for all you can eat lunch, a great deal. Apparently the dinner price is almost double that for pretty much the same thing. I was going to buy their certificate yesterday, but it said they were sold out.

Happy dining, everyone!

THANK YOU!!!!!:love::love::love:

I just used "cook" and got it for $2.00.

We would not have tried this place otherwise. I am excited. My mom and I are going in May without kids!

Has anyone done the house of blues gosspel brunch? It looked kinda fun???? I just checked and this wont apply but still looking for feedback?

New discount code expires 4/6/10: CHOW
80% discount!

I also have a question for those who have eaten at Fire and Ice. Is it like some buffets where you pay for your party as you enter the restaurant or do they bring you a check? We will have a party of 9 with it being a couple of different families and wondering if there was a way of getting around the one certificate per party rule with the setup of this particular restaurant and using two certificates. I wish there was a $50 certificate!

Thanks for the great code! I bought one, and my friend bought one. If worse comes to worse, we can possibly use on seperate days. If not, she lives there, so no big deal!

We just got back from using our restaurant.com certificates at House of Blues and Fire+Ice.

We weren't impressed with House of Blues food. The specialty featured pork was wayyyyyyyyy too salty, and I like salt, but woah. The kids pizza is huge so it's a good one to pick to split if you have kids sharing. The good part of the meal was the cookie ice cream dessert thing to share. I was glad we had the $25 to apply to the meal since it wasn't too great for the original price.

My family all loved Fire+Ice...something for everyone there! The only thing that was a little bothersome was the automatic 18% grauity as part of the restaurant.com requirement when it's essentially a buffet and the only thing our waiter did was bring us some water when we first sat down. Adults had noodles/veggies/meat, kids had a hot dog and chicken fetucine alfredo.

Thanks everyone for keeping us up on the codes! Just got 2 HoB Certs. One for July and one for Oct!
