MCO to WDW

There's a number of ways you could go but your going to add considerable time to your trip. The first half of 528(up to exit 4) doesn't have tolls aim to get there then go down I4 any other way depending on the time of day would be considerably longer.

Do you have an EZpass transponder from where you live? Those work in many states and can use that to pay the Florida tolls.

We’re planning to fly to Orlando, drive to St. Augustine to visit relatives, then back to Disney World. Just saw that tolls are likely. We have EZ pass. Have you actually used EZ pass or just read that’s an option? Looks like Avis gives themselves a nice bonus if we use their system.

I’ve finally reached the age where ease is often more important than economics (NEVER thought I’d say that!) so won’t bring our EZ pass is it more trouble than saving a few bucks.

I approach this as 'What's your time worth?" Is it worth it to you to spend the extra time to avoid a few dollars in tolls?

I even stopped worrying about Visitor Toll Pass for my rental. I only have to pay a $5 fee on arrival day, again on departure day, and whatever tolls are charged. I think the last two trips down I ended up paying less than $20...well worth skipping the hassle of remembering to set up the rental on my EZpass/remembering to take the transponder home as well as the time and effort for VTP.

I don't take 'unlimited tolling' when I rent the car...that's too much. Budget only charges about a $5 fee on any day that you go through a toll plaza.
