hotel suggestions SC and GA

Driving from NJ to Orlando in May. Looking for suggestions for a place to stay in south SC and/or just into GA for one night. Also needs to be pet friendly. Travelling I-95.

Thanks for any ideas you might have.

Had a decent breakfast buffet included. Not sure how far south into SC it is, but it seemed like we made it into GA pretty quickly the next morning if memory serves. And it is literally right off the ramp.

There's a Ramada Limited in Port Wentworth, which is the first exit as you enter Georgia (before you hit Savannah, etc.).

It's only 10 years old or so, and a good location. Plenty of restaurants, etc. nearby.

Pooler GA is a good area. You'd only have about 4 1/2 - 5 hrs left to drive the next day. I always go to tripadvisor.com to check out the hotels. Some of them can be pretty scary! I like to know what other people think about the place.
