Just a quick one, i have been trying to book RO rate for Dec 08 and have been told they will release prices soon... phoned again today and spoke to a reall helpful CM who told me they will only be releasing AP RO rates 90 days before travel :confused3 he said he thought this was a new rule and dint know why they were choosing to do this now. My delemia is of course do i risk waiting until Sept to book RO with ap disc and find that it isnt as cheap as 3 nights 4 the price of 2 which may then have sold out by Sept!!! :scared1:

I have now booked and paid the deposit as if i wait until sept and all the 3 nights for the price of 2 are gone, then it would cost a fortune! so the room with park passes is costing £302 per room and £65 each on the train so £432 per couple (6 adults and 2 kids going) i have priced up roughly what we paid for RO last year and hopefully wont be too much put of pocket!!! but the 90 day thing seems silly, almost looks like they may be discouraging the AP's!!!

Hahah I need a tag that says that!

Oh don't even talk to me about the AP discount I am in the middle of a huge dispute with them about that in that someone at Disney told me the discounts were available (luckily they emailed me this so i have it in writing). Then someone I booked through told me I could put a deposit down and they would rework the price for me when the discounts were released (as like you I had the dilemma do I book @ full price or do I wait and risk losing out ona room in December)

Luckily the fact the person told me I could do this is also in writing on my booking notes so currently waiting for Disney to SORT THEMSELVES OUT!

It's been over a week since I heard last so am going to mail them again tommorow to find out where they are up to with it.

Its teriible, let me know how you get on with it as i would be happy to push it if they will do something about it.

Just noticed i have been tagged!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: now the world knows i am a bread roll borrower!!!!

Did you book this direct with DLRP?

Booked hotel direct with Disney and the eurostar direct with eurostar...

I certainly will keep you posted.

It has cost me £996 for 4 adults for 3 nights (Room only) at the SL with halfboard plus.

(Mind you I also booked 1 night room only for the castle club on top of this and i kid you not minus £100 off the cost of 3 nights at SL and that is what the CC cost me :scared1: I cannot get over that).

That was direct with Disney.

Well I emailed them today as it has been over a week and i have heard nothing

I got this reply: (Looks like AP discounts will be available from the 16th June :thumbsup2

Good Morning Mrs Duffield,

Many apologies for the delay to my reply, I have been liaising with our technical department awaiting on a go-live date. For the moment all your reservations are safe, so for the meantime at least we know that your rooms aren't going to sell out.

I have gone through your original email in detail to verify exactly what needs to happen on each reservation, I have been given an estimated go-live date of 16th June, so I will be able to start making the necessary modifications to your bookings to apply the discounts as necessary, which I will be able to price up for you after the 16th when the discounts have been calculated properly.

Again, please accept my sincere apologies for any delay and the inconvenience caused, and my assurance that this is being looked into at top priority,,

Yours, as always, with kindest regards

Glad your getting it all sorted. :goodvibes

that great news... i will give them a call then and see if i can modify mine as i would much rather get use of the AP's while we have them! although i am a little narked why he told me they wouldnt be realeaseed until 90 days before travel... :confused3 could you tell me the number you booked on?

I think all AP holders are going to need clarification from Disney about booking RO - what's the point of buying park tickets if you have APs?!

Oh I was able to book room only from the start but just not with an AP OR Shareholders discount which isn't on really. It goes against the guidelines regarding the discount.

I booked using the normal number

0844 800 8111

and for angry emails i emailed the ukadmin address!

Luckil because I had an email telling me that AP discount was available (after I emailed them to ask when and why it wasn't available NOW) when my hubby phoned and asked and they told him no (which is what i was hoping they'd say as we were trying to catch them out) we were able to say we have it via email that the prices are now available...

Thing is it doesn't say ANYWHERE that you can only benefit hotel discount when booking after certain dates. It tells you if certain dates apply if there is a reason you can't have a discount (e.g new years eve or Castle Club rooms) but nowehere does it say, once rooms are released you have to wait till we say you can have money off.

It just says x% off hotels, packages and tickets. It'd be like phoning up to buy a park entry ticket with your shareholders card and them saying no if you want to come in April we can't let you buy it at that price till two weeks before you want to come....

It doesn't say that it just says you geta discount-it's ludicrous really.

I'm thinking of booking in February so if I can convince DH might ring and see what they say.
