but have a question about/ for teens.

I am taking my two nieces with me next year to Disney. They will be 13 and 17.

What things should I look at booking while we are there.

We will be there in October.

Please give me your suggestions. I want to make this a great trip for them.

thanks.

It's too bad the adventurers club will be closed, because that's a really fun place!!

Ummm...thing I can reccommend;
-try to get tickets to the not-so scary halloween party, that might be something fun! they could dress up for halloween! (im 19 and I'd LOVE that!! lol)
-I looove walking around the countries @ EPCOT, maybe you could look into some of the World Showcase restaurants if there is any culture in particular they are interested in.
-Maybe go for a water park day (weather permitting...dunno what the weather's like in october!)
-Shopping in DTD is great!!!!!

The thing I'd recommend most though is printing off some menus and letting them pick a couple restaurants

Hope some of this helps!

It might be warm enough for water parks, perhaps.
Ask them there preferences though, as far as stuff to do.
Downtown Disney is a must! Disney Quest might be good, if they are into arcade games.

Ohhh..and character dining, if they like to interact with characters. :goodvibes

Downtown Disney (SHOPPING!)
Let them go off on their own for some rides/shows
WS in Epcot is lovely for cultural shopping and experiances
Water park, for sure (we went to TL in December one year, and it was fine)
Resort pool, just for an afternoon or evening

Definitely Downtown Disney for shopping and Disney Quest. ::yes::

If you can only go to one park, then do MGM if they are typical teenagers. If they are scaredcats/Disney addicts like us, then they should do MK or Epcot. If they like animals (and thrill rides) a lot, go to AK. If you can get the park hopper, you could really do both MGM and AK in one day. AK first, you see more animals on Kilimanjaro.

i recommend park hopper tickets because us teenagers change our minds alot! and a nice thing to do is give the 3 or 4 choices of hotels and they can choose one, and give them each one day of the trip to plan, like what park and where you eat, and definatly take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours because knowing us teens we wont wake up early and we will stay up late

I wish I could let them have so much control over the trip, but they are coming with my family and we have an 11 year old and a 5 year old. Plus we are DVC members so they won't be picking the hotel either.

We will definitely get park hopper tickets and MNSSHP tickets.

I did ask them what rides they would like to do and asked them to look at the menus and let me know if there were any in paticular they would like to do.

We were also thinking on booking Chef Mickey's and the Spirit of Aloha dinner.

They have gone with us once this past March Break and seemed to have a good time with us. We try to include what they would like to do each day along with what our family wants also, and on our last day we give them the day to themselves to do their favorite things.

Deffff! take them to OHANA!!
i went there this summer and omg, it was the best meal of my life lol
everything there is sooo great and i got to learn how to hula :) haha
it's a realy fun atomosphere and if i didnt mention the food is ahbsolutleyy ahhmazingggg! ;)

Downtown Disney is a must.

Oh and if not Chef Mickey's try Crystal Palace for breakfast, that is awesome.

Try to get to the theme parks when they are opening. Some of the opening ceremonys are amazingly fun.
