Honeymoon in May

Hello, arriving in May for our Disneymoon… I've called Reservations a few times in the last couple of days, and every time I speak with an agent, they ask me if I'm celebrating a special occasion, and every time I tell them it's my honeymoon. Is there any way this can be noted in my account, and if so, are there any perks that might come from it?

Also, the last time I spoke with an agent, she recommended Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. It sounded like an awesome idea, but when I searched availability, none of the days I'm in town are available. I'm wondering if I call and speak with a reservation agent, might they be able to find a spot for me? And how much does the event cost? The agent mentioned it could be a "splurge" so I know it's not inexpensive, but how much of a splurge are we talking?

The Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party costs $59/person. I would just keep checking online. Availability changes all the time.

The agents are required to ask you that question about celebrating every time. Next time one does it to you, you could ask them if they can see the note about your anniversary on your reservation that should already be there. I also usually call the hotel directly a couple of days before I check in and make sure they can see the note too. Perks are solely dependent on availability and the generosity of the cast member. You may just get hearty congratulations. Or they could give you two Happily Ever After buttons. Or, if it's a really slow week and the hotel is empty, someone might be kind enough to upgrade your room. But you can't expect ANY of that or you're bound to be disappointed.

Great! I'm definitely not expecting anything, and we already have a pretty nice room so I will be fine without something big like an upgrade for that.

Wow! I expected a lot more than $59. I will definitely keep checking for that. If there ends up being a spot to reserve, is the money due at the time, or do I simply place a credit card guarantee? Thanks again!
